On a cold New England evening I made this delicious soup. First time and definitely not the last. It was out of this world great. I made enough to share with my neighbor, and she LOVED it too. Nanny, I made your French onion soup tonight. It was so easy and so delicious. I did add some additional seasoning (1 Knorr beef bouillon cube and half of a chicken bouillon and a dash of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder as well as the sautéed medium onion to the onion soup. And it was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for sharing this recipe. I always enjoy your cooking segment. I hope you and Moose are staying safe and avoiding all the rain you are getting out there in California. I am so glad your knee is getting better. ❤️

Thank you for sharing all with us. I’ll be 80 in March and just had a total right shoulder replacement and I’m R Handed . Hobbies and house work will have to wait as I must wear immobilizer for 12 weeks. My husband is such a help and keeping a sense of humor helps. Just love you. Take care of u and be well.

I’m planning to watch my all time favorite romantic movie tonight after I do all the stuff I still have to do. The name of the movie is Roman Holiday with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. I watch this movie every year before my birthday, it’s my way of welcoming another year of celebrating my birthday!

We have high winds here in the uk,it’s not cold just chilly ,so like you I also made a bean soup and I put everything into it from the frig.that needed using up ,no fennel but I had celeriac .It’s yummy.
Love it when you wear your hair up ,and you look lovely in red .Be careful and don’t overdo your walking around ,rest in between .Nice to have a garden project and the feeling that Summer is not that far away ,we all need better weather .Love your videos no matter what you do ,all good fun.Keep Happy xx
Hello Nanny & Moose. I have been watching though not commented in a bit. Loved your videos with your brothers' visit. So glad you were better & able to get around to do the things & cooking you wanted. I love watching you with your family, they are all wonderful! Wishing you the best with the rains & flooding which was us before & after the freezing temps down to 0 and icing. More moderate right now. You & Moose are recovering well which am so glad. I've had 3 big health battles in past 4 months latest is c-o- vid which I wasn't expecting to be the diagnosis of my being so sick unfortunately I couldn't drive myself to urgent care as too dizzy by the time I had a ride ended up in the ER very dehydrated as nauseous & such a horrible sore throat I could barely sip water. A couple bags of IV fluids helped that but the rest has been a struggle. Being in my 70s & living alone has it's down side at times like this. Finally 4 days later am improving a bit. So grateful for my fur babies company & daughter n daughter -in-law thousands of miles away ordering meds to help. I love being in a tiny town in the smokies except when I wish we had uber & delivery services. All's well when we're well. Thank you for sharing your meal ideas I will again enjoy trying someday right now just sips water, theraflu & graduated to applesauce. Have a wonderful week and God bless you!
