We lived in Wisconsin when I was a kid. Circus World Museum was a lot of fun. The animal acts I remember were trained poodles! Nothing wild or endangered and this was back in the late 60s.
Good Morning ! You always find some neat treasures . I also learn so much about the items you look at . I want to say Hello to Noah . Love his little Pop Ups . Have a Great Week !😃
So many of the flowered bowls remind me of what my grandmother served supper in. She was still fixing meals into her early 90s. What delicious meals. She was pretty dangerous with the pressure cooker, though. She lived to be 102.
My grandmother lived to be 103. She was born in 1904. I got a lot of her antique dishes that belonged to her mother. I am a grandmother, I hope my grandkids have those special memories when I’m in heaven.
My mom recently passed at age 100 and she was cooking and tending my vegetable garden until 92ish. She also used a pressure cooker often. I love this place. The dishes were beautiful and was the furniture!
The Wisconsin posters are exciting for me since they have discontinued the Circus Parade. The highlight was the actor Ernest Borgnine was a clown in the parade
I really liked that brown pottery piece. I love that Mikey loves his shirt. Doesn’t it feel good when a friend loves a gift. The Empoli vases were a wonderful find!!
The Circus World Museum were put out by the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, WI. They were promotional pieces for their museum the and annual circus parades they had in Milwaukee. The parades were discontinued because of huge costs to put them on. I went to two in the 1980's. They were spectacular and drew crowds of several million people for the parades. There was a circus train that transported the parade pieces from Baraboo on a route that went down into Illinois before arriving in Milwaukee. It was a 2-3 day trip and drew lots of crowds. The museum is still open in Baraboo and is a very unique place to visit.
My favorite card game as a child was Old Maid. My favorite board game was Sorry and I loved to annoyingly proclaim, "Sorrrryyy", every chance I could!!😂
Love watching you going to the thrift stores!! You got a lot of good things!! Love when you go with Mickey!! He’s a great guy!! God bless you and your family!! Much love!! 💖🥰🌺🌺🙏🙏😇❤️💙💙🦋🦋💙😊😊🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜
Favorite games growing up: Skittles, Battling Tops, Parchesi, king's corner, redlight greenlight, tag, running bases, hide- and-seek, Trouble, Mouse Trap, Slip n' Slide, rover, red rover. Congrats on the wonderful yellow Impoli vases! Beautiful, nd such a great find! Whoo-hoo!🌟🥳🎉🎊
My favorite game was The Mystery Date Game...I am old! Also I think there were popcorn bowls on the bottom shelf where you found the popcorn salt shaker! Great finds today.
Hello Dani, I love going shopping with you. I'm learning a lot from you. I loved the Marie from Aristrocats. That's my favorite Disney movie. My favorite game was always Sorry! I really love that thrift store, so clean and organized. Yes, what a great way to showcase their mugs. Love it!
Great finds, love that store, so quiet and well organized. I loved Parcheesi, Monopoly, Yahtzee and outside games 4 square and tether ball. It was a pole with a rope and a semi soft ball the size of a volleyball you hit with your fist. I was tether ball champion in elementary school and eventually wore a glove to protect my hand because my hand would get bruised playing so long after we ate lunch on the playground. Fond memories…rather silly now!!!🏅👍😎⭐️
beautiful Italian vases and a great find! Good to see Mikey out and about again and probably feeling so much better. That leather chair looked great and I think you deserve comfort while working. Maybe if it was $100 instead of $200 it would be a good buy.
Hi! The girl figure with the separate head on a stand is a Russian dancing girl. She balances on the stand and you touch her hand and she swings back and forth and looks like she is dancing. We had two growing up. Hope that helps and hi from Canada!
Special "Hi" to Noah! Can't wait to see your decor choices for your new room. You and your sister's are so lucky to have such a sweet mom! Have fun!😎🌻🦋💜
Hi Noah 👋 Dani, those glass vases are to die for!!! Beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 😘 😊 😍 The treasures you found were all so awesome 👌 👏 👍 Thanks again for your knowledge and experience and taking us shopping with you ❤🙌🙏
Darlin, take it into a trophy manufacturer. It’s usually a small mom and pop that make those. Or send them a video. They can tell you if it’s able to be removed. Good luck
HI Dani, I just watched Mikey's video and yours popped up, so I saw this almost immediately after watching his. It was a great way to see both your videos, back to back. Interesting to see the difference in strategy and purchasing choices. I also watched Tiffany's video and it's interesting to see what each person decides to buy to resell. She tends to pass on the crystal candle holders (which I collect) as she says clear glass doesn't sell for her. Personally I don't consider candleholders in the same category as clear glass bowls and platters, for example. I believe you do pick them up? Especially the Swedish or Danish ones? I have moved to Ecuador, and there are no thrift stores here, so watching you guys gives me a vicarious experience. Thank you!
One time I went looking for pretty serving jam or jelly jars...great idea from mom to get sibs as i often game home made jam,,,,they were not to be found as vintage, antique or new...now I see them everywhere...that was lovely...but no meat on bone...xo.
Beautiful stuff, I thought the prices were a bit higher than the last time you were there for sure. The vases were gorgeous and what an exceptional deal there.
Our family have always loved playing games. When I was a kid, I loved Trouble and Mystery Date. Trying get my brothers to play Mystery Date was very difficult 😂
That was Anna, not Elsa. Love the blue stem candle holders. Anything blue/teal/turquoise, dragonfly. Wish I had stores like that around me, your Goodwills are amazing.
My absolute favorite game when I was little was Candy Land, followed closely by Perfection, Trouble, Memory and Operation!!! As I got older I played CLUE, LIFE, Connect Four, Battleship and of course Monopoly 🧡 I loved Simon too! I was a game fanatic and still am. 😃 I love the Doreen whereabouts interrogation of the mannequin congregation 🤣🤣🤣 I'm obsessed with that glass on the black stand, I would just keep it on the stand and flip it around - such a stunning piece
Favorite game growing up was Dark Tower. 1980’s electric board game. I still have it! No box but all the pieces. I think it goes for $400-$600 on eBay. Hard to part with though. Hmmm…
In the ‘60s my dad and the neighbor would sit in the garage after work and drink a quart of Shlitz. Schaffer and Ballintine were also popular with those two buddies. My daddy just turned 89 on August 7th, full speed ahead. Amazing❤️
at 32:32 if I was buying this piece I would see about putting an etching over the trophy endorsement or mounting a plaque or picture to cover that side.
That store had so many pretty things with 💐 flowers on them. All those vintagey pink plates!! I'm going to be moving and I want to do a small collection of plates on one wall in my bedroom or office.
oddly enough, I bought an art glass basket last Friday and it's exactly like the one you purchased except mine is clear glass with a touch of amber. It was without the base and I could not figure out what it went to. Now I know!!! It is possible to get it off the base, but I have no idea how to do that. I paid $3.99 for it. Spirograph was my favorite as a child, but over the years Scrabble is my all time favorite game to play. I love shopping with you. I learn so much. thank you 💖
Yes, Baraboo, Wisconsin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I used to drive through there.when I lived in Wisconsin,,then moved to San Diego.....much better weather,,,,,,,,,
I just had to tell you I was watching Wades Venture on TH-cam and he mentioned reseller remix in Vegas. He's going to be a guest speaker there. Then he was scrolling through the list of people and I seen your name and Mikey bags of money. That was Cool.
My sister and I loved Mystery Date Game back in the 60s. Lol We also wore out her Spirograph on rainy days. It gave us hours of fun. Our pens would never work well though. Thanks for the memory Danni! Good video. I liked this little store.
At 15:30 to 15:34 time stamp there was a framed art piece of a Pueblo Dancer sitting on top of a dresser. Would’ve been interested if that was original art (not a print). Eclectic outing as always, continued good luck w/your move 👍🏻
My local Assistance League is open Thur, Fri and Saturday. They do a senior discount day on Thursdays. The ladies that volunteer there are sooo sweet. I love them but sometimes I wonder about the pricing.
Listening to you interrogate the wig heads was pretty funny!!! You always make me laugh.
Yes, it was cute ☺️
🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite game as a kid was Candyland.... the board was so colorful and tasty looking and so was some of the cards you drew.

The Wisconsin posters are exciting for me since they have discontinued the Circus Parade. The highlight was the actor Ernest Borgnine was a clown in the parade
I loved playing Chinese Checkers as a kid
I laughed out loud when you asked all the mannequin heads if they'd seen Doreen!😀❤
Danni, when I was a kid my grandfather drank Schlitz. It is still made today, as a matter of fact in Los Angeles.
My Dad drank it too.Once in a blue moon he'd give me a sip...lol.
It was a very popular beer in Texas in the 70's.
I really enjoy shopping with You, Thanks for taking us with you!❤️💖
such a wonderful gift. the double blue birds of extra double happy happy happiness! you are so lucky to have such beautiful friends.
I really liked that brown pottery piece. I love that Mikey loves his shirt. Doesn’t it feel good when a friend loves a gift. The Empoli vases were a wonderful find!!
Those beautiful Amber vases turned out to be a little gold mine. I can’t believe they were Italian Empoli glass worth over $100 each. Wow!
So many people don’t like amber glass ! I love it and love to decorate with it In the fall.
Love the gift of the blue birds how sweet
I love love love Parcheesi! Used to play it with my grandma and aunt. Still have the original board. That’s all I wanted when they passed. ❤️

They have a small parade in Baraboo. I had elephants walk right the past the front of my house!
So glad you scored on the vases. I wonder why people are so suspicious about things...
My favorite card game as a child was Old Maid. My favorite board game was Sorry and I loved to annoyingly proclaim, "Sorrrryyy", every chance I could!!😂
Life! My sister and I played endless board games as kids. Lots of different ones and our mom played also after my dad went to work!

Blue birds of happiness bring me so much joy!!!
They are so sweet. I want a red one. I never knew they came in any other color until I started watching Thrifting videos.
Wow! Those Empoli vases are gorgeous! Good find!

Was that called "Spin Art?"
@@sarahfullerton6894 Right! Thanks!
The cat with the long tail, I thought could be used to stop drafts at the bottom of a door. I enjoyed playing Battleship.
Always love Noah's words of wisdom "A broken piece is no good" 🤔 🤣🤣🤣🤗
Great finds! Growing up I liked Monopoly, Life, Uncle Wiggly,. I also liked Spirograph .

I was wondering if you could have that trophy taken to a trophy shop and maybe they could remove the engraving. Great store and video.🌹❤️🥰
Maybe a trophy shop could make a plaque to cover what's there.
The red clay plate looked so similar in style and colors to a couple I brought back from Spain
At 15:30 to 15:34 time stamp there was a framed art piece of a Pueblo Dancer sitting on top of a dresser. Would’ve been interested if that was original art (not a print). Eclectic outing as always, continued good luck w/your move 👍🏻
