Personally, I think you should invest in workers first. Get 5 or 6 of them. I had 3 on anvils making weps, 2 mining gold ore, 1 mining everything else. Since I didnt use the other ore as much I only ever needed 1 person doing it. From then on you are just fully stocked all the time with weps on all 3 racks (buy more selling racks from the tool vendor). From there I did the arena with warriors. You can train them if you buy equipment from the arena vendor. Also maces, axes and war axes are the best weps for them, they do a TON of damage. Frost is the best potion for their weps as well.
WARNING, if your warrior dies or you forfeit, thats it. Theyre gone with all your equipment. Always save before you fight.
you deserve way more viewers than you have, your voice is so calm could listen to it all day
when curving a blade, moving each green dot 1 full square up/down in opposite directions gets you the maximum cut rate bonus without the shape penalty
I think you should upgrade skill to hold more ore, and you should get another weapon sell stand and a helper so u can mass produce. Because you still have to pay your loan and your rent.
Happy new year! Glad to see another video already. Love the series. Great way to start new year😃
If you end up making multiple of the pommels and guards you can save them and use them as spares it doesn't matter the type of metal they are (I have put a silver pommel on an iron dagger it was still worth 600-800 doesn't degrade or anything). Just so you know you can mismatch if you have spares or make multiple.
I found your channel through this series and I love when a new video pops up on my home page
Thanks grill man between this and the mushroom game I love them both!
For the Arena:
You personaly can't fight.
You train "warrior" slaves that cost 100k and then go to arena and by training equptment.
You can arm your slave with wepon and armor, you can also go to the temple and at the lowest level you will find a ring vendor.
As it takes long time to train them up it's recomended to have several training at the same time. (spoiler) for endgame you will need atleast 6 if noone dies.
NOTE: if your slave dies you will loose everything and giveup/forfit is the same as dieing.
I don't know if it'll help, but for added realism, you can hammer side-to-side along the blades to have a consistent percentage of hammering quality when you're molding it with the hammer. Not sure how much hammering quality affects the value of the weapons though, but it seems cool.
Love it. :) Hope you keep on going with this. Happy New Years!
It’s too bad you couldn’t fight in the arena, but still, all the armor seems like a good investment for when you can send someone else in. And it was cool to see you basically mass producing those weapons. 😅
Love this series
Hi sir grill happy new year to you and everyone here. Sorry for being late.lol I'm up for more than 24hrz now from South africa
Thank you for the interesting video!
you can use the woodbench to make different handles and still use the skin and it will be like u designed it :)
need a close the lid sign on the forge lol you keep leavening it open probably a sackable offence in a good blacksmith. hope you had a good Christmas and a awesome new year
Still catching up in all the videos. Lol keep up the good work!
I came to this channel for this game. I subbed for the guy playing it. You seem chill ansld competent
about the green bar: its the progress bar for this chapter of the story. So far there is 3 chapters of story.
The price for armor and a slave is so high because when you are able to compete in the arena, if you win, you'll get your money back, plus more, a lot more.
5:21 you should have named the sword "The P destroyer" 😂
Support, happy new year
Hey Grill loving your series, maybe you could buy a couple of weaponracks so you'd have a little variety.
Because maces don't really seem to be doing much for you right now.
next perk you shuld get is: Western Guards, needed for story..
but igonoring that I whuld get a 2 normal slave one for gold farming and 1 for blacksmithing. and perk Arithmetic and Exercise. will not help story wise but will free you up to do what you want to do.
also don't for get about rent and morgage, 20k + 20k per month.
"The Master Blacksmith stayed up all night to forge 5 flaming axes"
The Mastah
Id love to see you try and replicate weapons from history, my favourite blade of all time has to be a kilij
That really good sword you made reminds me of Shrek
you get rep from buyng the food in the market that can build towards getting skill points
Have you tried making weapons from mixed parts? IRL blade makers often use softer metals for guards and pommels. Not sure if the game would allow this. Happy New Year!
Next one I test em
Would have been fun if you had given that guy who wanted to fight in Arena your sword and let him fight and then bet on him.
In my play through I spent 100k for the warrior slave plus another 50k for armor and an enchanted ring from the temple but I haven’t event had them fight yet I bought them training dummies to train cause that’s a lot of investment to just lose.
I'm wondering if it would be worth it to make a bunch of gold guards and pommel. Then use the good ore for mace heads/blades with the gold to boost sale price.
I Actually found Good Medival Blacksmith gameplay😭
Playing last night I discovered an exploit. Not really a glitch since it seems to be two mechanics meshing oddly. If you have a low quality ore you can put a new one in to refresh the quality to 100% if you add 1 ore to another it doubles the liquid ore but drops it to zero. If you then use the first trick you basically can get extra material at the cost of 1 cheaper ore. Final quality is unaffected by the process
Since your trying to showcase some progression. If you drop your sale price to a 15% you might be able to make more progress in a single episode without needing to wait the extra time for your stock to sell.
I still want to know if they kids will do anything.
After watching, I don't know if it's true, but it seems like if you use "fast cut" by holding space, it seems to take a bit more? I can't quite tell but it does seem to have some sort of pattern I just can't quite figure it out haha
It's just fast moving the wood, cutting is just how fast I move the mouse
Is it possible to quench the pommel and guard? I get there's no reason to probably. But I'm just hella curious lol.
No u cant when grill first got the quenching barrel he tried to quench the pommel or guard but it said “blade bar needed”
Are you not allowed to say slaves or what
Attempt 4 of asking for u to make a giant killer, u might as well just make it bc i will keep asking until either u make it or beat the game.
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊
Why'd you hide the last one?
so, you *might* be waiting a while to sell those. i think getting rep increase odds of expensive shit selling
I’m confused, do the enchanted potions last forever? Nervous to shell out 20k for something temporary.
People have said yes
I wanted to say 1st. but I am 15 min late.... sooo 4th
I would of reverted a save get my 50k back
