I remember seeing this tutorial a couple of years ago when I was starting out with watercoloring. I’ve already done this year’s Christmas cards, but I think I’ll make an 8x10 poinsettia painting to hang as part of our Christmas house decorations. Oh my gosh! I just found your channel and am totally in love. I do have a question however, I can not draw, do you have a tracing of the Poinsettia. I want to try my hand at this. I am a complete beginner, but love how you paint. Thank you for any help

Yes the glove! It's to protect your paint from being smudged and to protect the paper from any damage in general (even when our hands are clean we tend to have some oil on them which affects the delicate cotton] These gloves are actually designed for tablet graphics and since I work a lot digitally as well as with watercolor, i found them to be super useful. Normally you would see artists use a piece of white cloth or tissue paper. But the glove is SO MUCH MORE convenient:) The one I love the most is from Laughing Paw: amzn.to/2LLqcyC

You can find others on Amazon that are much thinner if you don't want to loose the sensitivity / feel the paper underneath as you paint. Enjoy!

A good tutorial, love the poinsettia BUT the music was so distractive. I had a hard time following the voice. StOP THE MUSIC BACKGROUND!
