I guess you're kinda young. Malcom X coined that phrase.

“I don’t sit around watching what Diddy be doing, y’all wildin”😂😂😂
Cam handled that well 😂 I almost spit my coffee out lmbo
Steven A tripppin man 😂 I thought he would be agreeing with Cam
Just because you're doing your job doesn't mean you're not being used.
*Cam was a straight up G that interview*
I don't be sitting around worrying about what Diddy be doing 😂😂
Lol😂
"I didn't know this was a Diddy Joint" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I agree Stephen A. Cam should have never even done that interview. It looked like a CNN publicity stunt.

I love how Cam played CNN... He did the interview to promote his drink.
Period
Yep
facts
That’s not called playing it’s called being a business man 😂
Y’all need to take a course
@@MeBihhhhReally!🤦🏾 that’s the perfect example of being a bad business man. Yes Cam promote his drink to his fan base and may gained a few more customers but after that interview I can assure you that the cooperate world wants nothing to do with Cam and that drink. Companies like Pepsi and those major drink companies want no parts that foolishness. They will not be calling him for big deals or contracts after showing such arrogance and making a fool of himself. That interview was so bad I cringed watching it. Example, 50cent is the most Gangster rapper around yet noticed how he always wears suits and speaks more eloquent when on certain platforms. The name 50cents is a brand in itself so he knows how to represents himself. Stop thinking so small minded and look at the big picture.
Cam turned into Rico😂😂Boy wild af!😂💥🆙

Damn, you're right!!!
When Stephen A compliments you, get ready 😂😂😂

Puffy ain't shit plus he did lot good shit yet the evil outweighs the good. Cameron was disrespectful to the sister like most of those rappers who get rewards for disrespecting black people on record most rappers are sell outs for money all the celebrities know this are just as bad

What a sucka
@@anthonypryor9412Yep. Cam should know how to navigate on these networks. This aint a podcast
Cam'ron was 100% right in saying they need to ask Cassie and not him about Diddy's apology because Diddy didn't do anything to him.
Then turn down the interview. I promise you CNN doesn’t care about the point he tried to make whilst exhibiting trash behavior. Nothing changed or improved with the news channel by him doing that. If anything it will deter them from reaching for black voices.
So he can't have an opinion because it didn't happen to him?
@@shanelljones1091 So he can't mind his own business because it didn't happen to him?
@mathewmcfool Sure, he could, but he went on TV and he clearly knew what CNN was trying to do.
@shanelljones1091 he expressed his opinion when they first asked him about diddy. Seems like he thought he was there for other reasons and not to really talk about him. If that's the case, I'd get frustrated as well if I stated my opinion about somebody's actions and then you just keep asking me about them.
Stephen A. stood on business. He made a strong argument and gave us facts, history, and brought it all together. This was an absolutely great word! I truly enjoyed listening to this. Well done Sir...well done.
Really how Steven A get upset how another Man ( Cam) do his Business in a Capitalist Nation! And you with that to wow 👍🏿
No this was horrible because journalist ONLY REPORT CERTAIN STORIES when Stephen speak LOOSELY regarding friendships I don’t think he knows the meaning of a friendship
This beautiful journalist ask several questions regarding PDIDDY as a MAN who wants to sit & speak about another man’s business that’s INSANE
Clearly he didn’t come on CNN to have convos regarding diddy
Kelly Rowland had to check a journalist that continued to ask questions about Beyoncé
This has to stop or inform the guest prior to the interview what questions will be asked.
Unfortunately when a black person is involved the situation is ALWAYS HIGHLIGHTED
If Cam was a NBA player who behaved this way during an interview, Steven would have labeled him "ignorant."
@@jayrome3932 my point abuse is abuse whether it’s physical mental sexual or verbal
Calling someone ignorant is verbal abuse
Society ONLY illustrate abuse as physical or sexual but abuse is so many components.
@heavenheavven2572 On the point of abuse, you and I are aligned. My comment focused more on Cameron's conduct during the interview. He could have conveyed that he declined to answer specific questions.
Cam'Ron knew the topic of the interview, if he didn't want to discuss Diddy then he should have refused the invitation. Saying he is going to have sex after the interview to a woman was disrespectful. What are "we" doing? Where is the decorum?
He was plugging his libido product that's why it makes sense
He took time to endorse his drink
Bring up decorum to cam and see what he say to you
They knew the brand if they didn't do their research that's their fault.
how u gonna confidently say what someone knew or didnt know. especially with no proof. genuinely how do know what a man you never met knows
I think Cam'ron should have just declined the interview. Either way, gives them folks more reason to stereotype us. Those that don't know Cam'ron have the image he presented on TV this week.
The image of keeping it real and not playing into down talking another black man for the masses. He stood up for our culture instead of continually painting the black man as the bad image of a man for centuries were tired of it. Good move Cam.
Cam'ron was right to say what he said
What d hell are you talking about he did it for the culture. He made a complete fool out of himself. It was embarrassing to watch. Hows that for culture????? He should have just declined the invitation instead of going on there with his funny mouth and slurred words talking like he was high on something!!!! Stop taking up for blk folks when they do dum#$$ sh#$%^^. He made a fool of himself and worse for us( THE CULTURE)!!@@renaldohaywood6506
I think Cam'ron was blitzed. We know Cam never really f^ckd with Diddy like that; not as much as Mase, who CNN should've requested to appear for Diddy content.

I'm African American and I don't understand why people say that they are from the streets. The streets is nothing to glorify. I am and always was upset at how my own people take part in keeping each other down. This guy saying he from the streets and grew up in the streets like it's a reward for being from the streets...
There are still people in the “streets” trying to find their way. When they see someone that made it out and can still share where they came from it gives more inspiration than just glorifying.
Some people grow up 'in the streets' and everyone's experiences and perspectives aren't yours... No one is keeping anyone down with statements about being from the streets, especially not business man, rapper, millionaire Camron or millionaire Stephen A Smith... They're obviously proud of the lived experiences that they evolved from because these experiences have contributed to they have grown to become. You don't have to approve of it or understand it for it to be their truth or for others to understand it as positive rather than negative.
Cam’Ron got on CNN and acted a fool at his big age. He’s too and old and too talented to not be able to answer the question intelligently. Stephen A is on here ducking and dodging the point instead of calling him out is ridiculous. Smh…
I found his answers incredibly intelligent.
You asking a grown man questions about another grown man that he clearly not associated with what did you want him to say it's clearly a Diddy smear campaign
He wasn't acting a fool, he just was being TOO real on CNN. The interviewer should have stopped. And Cam still thanked CNN for having him 🤷♂
He wasn't acting a fool he wasn't at work he was using that platform against them to not contact him again about another man's downfall so he promoted his own products and going viral doing so I'd say that was a smart business move

Lol yea nothing new here. There's always an excuse 4 a white man huh lol. What happened 2 never put your hands on a woman. Noo matter what.
In this world too many people will compromise who they are for fame, fortune and money. Cam'ron was simply being Cam'ron, and the people who possess that compromising nature within them will never understand why he acted the way he acted. CNN should have done there homework and realize this was a man who is not gonna change who he is because he's in front of a camera, he is still gonna be his raw authentic self. For those who say why did he accept the interview, if you know Cam you know this, Cam knows how to get his chips and uses every opportunity to his advantage. I'm not sure what CNN was thinking - that Cam’ron was going to conform his behavior to CNN's standards. Cam’ron has always been authentically himself, without apology. Not sure why he would act any differently, when it has brought him fame, success, and fortune. Would I have asked him to appear on CNN based on his previous interviews? Probably not. So, I don't really blame Cam’ron for anything that transpired during the interview

Then act like he doesn’t know why he’s there. He owes Abby an apology. But he’s not going to give it because he’s a rEaL oNe. This is a classic example of climbing a ladder and pulling it up from under you because as much as he went on his podcast the next day crying about all of his accomplishments he didn’t mention how unprofessional he was to be on. if you’re standing on business then standing on business and don’t go on the show. @@CameronDThomas What you fail to realize is that Cam'ron fell right into a stereotype of a black man who is not articulate and has nothing but sex on his mind. Nothing with substance. He didn't have to do the interview. He could have backed out of it in a much classier way.
Great job Stephen A.!👏👏
Continue to be you brotha. You are a great example of success.
I would agree if she didn’t keep pressing the issue. It was clear he didn’t like the line on questioning and she was too persistent which gave the impression it was an agenda being pushed.
I swear y’all dudes think that someone ain’t supposed to do their jobs because your feelings didn’t like the questions. He ain’t like it? Oh tf well. She still has to do her journalistic thing.
I think Cams point was right. But he’s just super immature for his age.
A Smith will protect the 💼 under any circumstances , Cam had second thoughts … it called integrity and even though someone you knew screwed up , You shouldn’t kick them while they down
Lots of respect on this one SAS💪🏾
The whole notion of not criticizing a fellow black man for wrongdoing is precisely what's wrong with so-called "race consciousness." If another race cannot call them out lest they be deemed "racist," then who can?
This is BLACK MALE 101 and it's exhausting AF. That's why there is so much distance between BM and BW
I believe it's the fact that white people will be in the wrong and hardly ever go against one another. Example: Dana White. No one interviewed other people in combat sports. Black folks have it the worst but are quick to have a spot light on the mistakes. White people have it the easiest and people/media/society look the other way for the most part. It's disgusting.
They don't criticize theirs, why would we help criticize black people.
Yall criticizing diddy for how he treat women but will vote for trump knowing he said he grab women by the 🐱 and has been accused of SA by 12 women and lost a court case behind it
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯💯💯💯💯💯
I'm pretty sure CNN provided Cam with a list of questions they would be asking before he went on. So I don't understand his confusion
You don’t know what CNN did before the interview. You’re just making assumptions.
“I’m pretty sure “ is Hilarious…unless you work with CNN
They did..My lady has worked in many talent booking departments including CNN..they go over the questions before the interview is accepted by the guest..Cam knew what was going on he just chose to be Cam and promote his products…Plus Cam understand how how booking guest works due to him now having his own show..Guest don't want to be surprised so they ask for questions before hand..
Bruh its common sense I dnt even like CNN @@couptakeover
@@kala-adaidakariopusunju6809 Were you there when CNN setup the interview? No. But let’s assume that Cam did get the questions beforehand. Can a CNN anchor ask a question that was not on the original list and catch an interviewee off guard? Cam started to get really petty when she kept pressing him like he knew Puff like that.
It’s a fair assumption that he received the questions beforehand. HOWEVER, It’s still an ASSUMPTION, not a FACT.
Facts. I totally agree
I looked up cam’ron “oh boy” song with the Mary j sample. This came up it’s good to know he is still around.
I don’t care what nobody says, especially black folks. That was embarrassing and Abby Phillips didn’t deserve that kind of treatment
Shut up because I knew people was going to say Abby Phillips didn't deserve that it wasn't directed at Abby she just happened to be the one to be doing the interview it could have been a white person or anyone doing that interview and Cam would have did the same thing you people are so clueless and don't be knowing anything you be talking about stop it
Killa Cam is a Marketing Genius, everyone don't care about what Puff did in the dark!! That's his business, Word
@@jerrayematlock2333Exactly what point are you trying to make? I can’t understand your argument. Who are you advocating for?
Abby shouldn't talk about diddy to a man that's not involved in that situation
And Cam deserves to have his name attached to Diddy?
Wait we are going to stomp on CNN for kicking a black man while he's down yet 50 cent just sold Diddy documentary rights to Netflix? Wow we really are screwed up as a culture. Almost every damn black hosted TH-cam channel has been kicking Diddy since the video has come out.
We are our own worst enemy.... And other groups of people know that
Diddy needs to be kicked
@@DeeMaxum Totally agree. Now let me admit I initially I was upset for Abby Phillips that her producers would even book Cam and put her in that position. A much better choice would have been a real intellectual like Common or even Killer Mike. Even KRS-1 would have been a better choice.
@@kimaleycreese28 I'm not saying that he doesn't, I would love to do the kicking myself. My objection is with the hypocrisy of blaming CNN for "kicking him" yet 50 and just about every other black TH-cam channel has been doing it as well. Le's not blame CNN. Should Abby Phillips only report on white topics?
@@vedder10 exactly, it's double standards.
Good job Stephen Smith and keep it real
Well said Stephen A need more brothers like you..
Hell I want to know what that drink is😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's PinkHoresPower... Designed for Men to give them that extra boost before baby making lol... All jokes aside tho. Back home in Jamaica we would use natural "Roots Tonic" or "Strongback." To do the job. Strength, stamina and vitality type tingz. If you know... You know, bless UP!
I disagree with black people struggles. I agree with Camron, he a real g.
How old are you, 12 ?
Always on point
Great perspective!
Abby Phillips makes millions a year. She is educated and has chosen to work for CNN as a highly talent journalist. She is not being used.
This! PERIOD! 🤦🏾♂️
I’m so sick of this fad in America where everyone is a victim.
@@joshuablackburn5770 hey yt guy behind the screen - we dont care what you say.
Y'all missed the point, it's optics. Out of all the cnn reporters they choose a black women, lol black people can't claim racism of it's a black person anchoring the questions. Democrats do it all the time wake up
How she not being used when her paycheck come from CNN ??? Make it make sense
Cam’ron isn’t in cooperate America he his own boss he independent they not a puppet
“Hell, I wanna know what that drink is” 😭😭😭😭
Brother you are 100% correct on your statement…..we cannot condone that behavior and we must speak out on it period !
Cam'ron had the right idea, but bad execution especially in comparison to his Bill O'Reilly interview.
💯
Dana White didn't get this heat ... He should get that work too
bingo🏁
I been saying “this joint” all day at work. Just throwing it in every sentence.
Everybody complaining about what Cam did like CNN was forced to have him on.
Get YOUR (OUR) own.
Then you can STAND UP ON YOUR FEET.
❤️🖤💚
Nothing better than a Steven a rant ! Black power ✊
🙄 Stop!
Simp power....
I usually don’t care about what Stephen A says but he is 100% on point .
I tbink my favorite part is how the news/headline ticker keeps changing. It's funny to me in the most strange way
