Tried the Fox Launch knee+shin and found they cut into the back of my knee. Have been thinking about these and had them in my cart. When you said "most comfortable pad you've ever worn" I completed the transaction. Thanks for the review.
@@trailsfromthedarkside6460 Have now been riding with the Race Face Flank pad for a month and these are head and shoulders above the Fox pads. The Flank pads simply do not move and they're as comfortable as can be.
@@nilsfrench glad they worked out for you bud. They are the business. Still riding mine nearly 2 years now. Thanks for the feedback. Ride Safe dude. 🤙🏴

I am in the Tweed Valley and have used these for a few years. Excellent leg protection and even on long days out they do not hold you back. The performance and peace of mind safety wise in the steeps is great! Awesome video.
Toby Dog MTB Nice one dude. I love mine. Knee is well protected and comfy. As l say in the video, the shin pad is helpful, its just not a full shin guard. Thanks for watching dude. 🤙🏴
@@trailsfromthedarkside6460 Will do cheers, currently using Fox knee pads but don't have as much protection, are solid all the time and are slide on so have to take shoes off to fit.
Gary Alexander yeah, thats another advantage you didn’t know you needed till you have it. Pop on and off without removing shoes. Their the best knee pads l’ve owned.
I love them. Still wear them everyride. After putting them on, l don’t notice them on. Even under trousers. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy them. 🤙🏴
Hey dude. This is my other account, l don’t really post on the TFTD site anymore, got rid off the bike after a bad crash last year. If l recall correctly they were both size large. I’m 6’6”, normally l would’ve bought an XL, but l used the RaceFace size guide and went for the L. They were awesome, my fave pads. Hope that helps. Ride Safe bud.
Nice review mate! I will so though... That you can get away with such "large" knee pads in the Scotland, but I would hazard a guess they'd be a little too hot elsewhere... Still though... RF is some noice gear! :D
Lol. Yeah, the hot weather is not something we worry about here too much. Although l must admit on the one or two days when it is hot here, l don’t really notice the pads. They are super comfy and RF do make great gear. Thanks for the support brother, take it easy. 🏴😎🤙
mtb brickwork Hi Michael. Both the knee and elbow pads are large. Normally l buy XL but went with the size guide. Glad l did they fit great. As l say in the video they are tight at the start but after a few rides they fit perfect. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching dude. 🏴🤙
mjojr jr l went with the chart. I normally by everything XL but l think l ended up going L. I would. Go by the chart. The elbow pads start off tight but within a few rides their sweet. The knee pads have a lot off straps so its easy to cinch up. Hope that helps dude. 🤙🏴

I love these pads. Still wearing them every week.

Thanx for the tip , I’ll be ordering a pair myself 🤙🏻
Just purchased these knee and shin pads, great price and appear to offer good protection as well 👍🏻

Thanks for the review, was looking for some new knee pads, these seem to fit the bill and at a decent price, cheers!
Gary Alexander nice one dude. As l say, their great. Lots off protection. Comfy, well made. Enjoy.

I ordered one today. I hope its comfortable to pedal uphill all day unlike the fox launch d30 that tortures me.

Thanks for great review. What weight are you and how tall please? What size do you wear? Thanks mate!

@@jakubrichvalsky1063 no worries mate. These things happen. I was getting a bit old for the crazy downhill stuff anyway. Lol.

Is the size chart true to its measurement Mate? or do we need to go one size up or down?

ambush or flank are sturdier ?
