  • Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. This week I'm showing you how to make this pretty gumpaste / sugar gypsophila, also know as baby's breath which you can then add onto your cakes. This is perfect for wedding cakes, birthday cakes or baby shower cakes. You can then either use the gypsophila on it's own or combine it with other sugar flowers.
    I really hope you enjoy the tutorial and you'll be able to use it to make your own gypsophila / baby's breath cake. Thank you so much for watching and don't forget to subscribe for more cake decorating tutorials!

    Beautiful decoration. Just loved it. Please let me know the difference between fondant and gumpaste.

    • @CakesbyLynz
      @CakesbyLynz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Neelam, Thank you so much. In terms of fondant and gumpaste, fondant which is also known as icing or sugar paste is used as a covering for cakes. It does set, but usually remains slightly soft for when you eat it. Gumpaste or floral paste sets completely solid. Making it great for sugar flowers or toppers. Even though it is made of sugar you don't usually each gumpaste / floral paste as it is so hard.
