    Surface mounting it to a 4x8 sheet of cardboard in the Knolling style would make an interesting art installation.

    I like to take worthless old trash organs, if their cabinets and consoles are still in decent shape, and gut out all the "synthesis" hardware and turn them into MIDI controllers. Then I put a Raspberry Pi inside and run pipe organ synthesis software on it, wired up to the stops and all that sort of thing. The software is getting so freaking good. It's like having several different cathedral-sized masterpiece historical organs in your livingroom. O_O
    Although I don't think I'd bother with that one; I go after stuff that has full-size consoles and all 32 notes on the pedalboard. Stuff like the Allen T-12s or some of the big old tube-based Conn organs with real AGO sized pedalboards. A lot of them have REALLY sweet 6L6 power amplifiers and gyrophonic speakers (Hammond organ type tremelo) and stuff, too!
    Makes me a little sad inside to tear apart tube organs TBH, but they are nothing but sine or triangle wave generators internally (really easy to synthesize extremely accurately), and some of the diapason sounds rely on a carbon coated bar that the keys push on, that flakes into dust and is impossible to replace.

      This is the comment I was looking for!!! I have a similar organ and was trying to add a 1/4 inch jack or an external input to midi for my synthesizers. Any idea where the best place to grab the signal from? I took the terminals off the speaker and connected it to speaker wire with a 1/4 inch jack and it's not cutting it. Any suggestions?

    I enjoyed watching this video! 🙂
    I came across it whilst researching whether the top section can be separated from the upright section for this type of organ.
    I'm keen to get one, but slight dismantlement will be really beneficial for transit purposes.
    Could the organ featured in your video be split cleanly into 3 separate parts, without removing the circuitry and speaker hardware?

    • @RinoaL
      @RinoaL  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think that could be done if you're ok with moving a few circuits.

    you could differently tear the Drumcomputer out and trigger the drums with an Arduino, then you have like a little MIDI Analog Drum Extender Sound Module.

    To the people saying she would have made more money selling this on ebay. In most areas of the US newer organs like this are very common, usually you can't even give them away. Go on craigslist and you'll see 10-20 "free if you can haul away" offerings for organs almost exactly like this one.
