    does the refurbished assembly have noticable quality difference than the service pack? is it harder to put together due to incompatible parts if bought from link provided?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is almost zero difference. In many cases the display in the aftermarket one is actually an original display but with aftermarket glass. Plus Samsung usually sells their own parts on these websites, meaning you can choose between OEM ND aftermarket

    Hey. Do you know if the 4G and 5G variants have interchangeable parts?
    Like, could I use a screen meant for the 5G version on the 4G version?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are kind of different, it's more carrier specific (like Verizon, AT&T etc.)

    very nice video but does the data of the old phone transfered on the new one ?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  ปีที่แล้ว

      All data is on the board, so yes. There is no risk to data unless the board itself is damaged.

    How long did you leave the battery soaked in alcohol to loosen the adhesive?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I usually give it a good 15 seconds or so. It doesn’t take long, and as you lift it allows the alcohol to soak further under it. Just don’t let it all evaporate, it should be visibly wet with alcohol.

    Quick question:: my screen connector is lose,which one of them is a screen connector??

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The screen connector is the short ribbon cable that connects to the right side of the charging board. It’s a weird design.

    • @TapticDigital

    Would the replacement be the same in the 4g variant of the same phone ?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they both share the same frame. If I recall I the Verizon version is slightly different internally though and requires a different frame

    Do you know if this supports 120 hz and if fingerprint works great?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It does 120hz and fingerprint has no issues. I use mostly Samsung branded parts because they cost about the same as aftermarket ones.

      @TapticDigital Great! Is this an actual super Amoled screen that looks just as good in terms of picture/video quality just as the oem?

    How do you know if you got a 5g or 4g variant of the phone?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I can tell they both use the same frame, but the 4G wouldn't have those big 5G antenna blocks, the area would likely have the cutouts but nothing in them. The 4G variant seems to only sell in European/Asian markets, so if you're from outside the Americas you may have the 4G one.

  • @youngirivboje2366

    Does Samsung sell this frame, and any link please?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't seen them sell the frame separately, only with a new screen. There's a link in the description for the part.

    will it be water resistant again after this?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as the correct adhesive is used it will be almost as water-resistant as it was to begin with. Though having seen an endless amount of water damaged devices, I wouldn't trust it from the factory even

      It took pretty complicated, but honestly it's like taking a puzzle apart and putting it back together. The hardest part is the battery removal, but with plenty of heat and a dash of isopropyl alcohol it'll be out in no time

I wanna try cause my s20+ screen/lcd is cracked and i got a s20fe from a friend and when i finally replaced the screen, he forgot the pattern/google account for it so i cant reset it and sell it. Hahahaha i got a NCK pro box but im struggling to find anything to help me learn that to unlock newer samsungs.
