      If BS&T were in the RR HOF, he'd have alot more visibility! Jim is royalty among many of the bass players I know.

    Those killer lines on “I Can’t Quit Her.” That the production allowed them to stand out was amazing for the time. Hard driving yet melodic with memorable embellishments. Love it.

    I saw Blood Sweat and Tears at the Cafe Au go Go early 1967 open for Moby Grape Jim Fielder was great

    Thank you for posting this! Mr. Fielder's time, sound and lines made a big impression on me- he has a soulful, swinging style that stands the test of time. Every time "Spinning Wheel" comes on the radio, I am reminded of this!
