      Yes, VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) can be used as a tunneling protocol for underlay networks in an overlay network architecture.
      In an overlay network, VXLAN is often used as the tunneling technology to create logical networks (also known as overlay networks) on top of an existing underlay network infrastructure. The underlay network typically provides connectivity between physical devices, while VXLAN encapsulates traffic in UDP packets, allowing virtual networks to be extended over the underlay network.
      VXLAN helps overcome limitations in traditional VLAN-based networks by providing scalability, flexibility, and isolation. It allows for the creation of virtual Layer 2 networks (overlays) that can span across physical boundaries and be extended across data centers or cloud environments.
