Congratulations This video was amazing buddy. I went for the Honor GS Pro. Only had it a week and battery is still booming with power. I never like to remove a watch while swimming etc.. I tested this in a hot bath while having a soak...... BRILLIANT.... No issues and no water going in. Highly recommend the Honor. This is my first ever smart watch and LOVE IT 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks great, so is it still worth buying in 2022 buddy or should I go with HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 46 mm? Im wanting a great battery life and water resistance as keep a watch on 24/7 even when in a hot bath. Or should I go with samsung with lower battery life as my phone is a samsung s20+ Help much appreciated.
If I had to choose I would pick Samsung. Especially if you have a Samsung phone. But if you want the best battery life, then go for the Honor Watch GS Pro.

I do not get txt alerts, but every time my phone rings, the watch does too. Can I turn off the call function but still use the watch for steps, heart, sleep etc....?

Great review Chigz. I bought this watch got a great price. I have it paired to my Poco f2 pro. There are 2 functions that are not available on the watch. OneHop Feature and the remote shutter. I did contact Honor and they advised it was due to the fact i was not using Huawei phone. It's not a deal changer just letting you know, maybe you can try on other phones see if you get same issue.
mine arrived today, with free earbuds. my first smartwatch, but has lots of stuff on there i have been missing. mostly the altimeter that is used to have on my suuntos, height here we go (when we can get to the alps again. my wrist is on the last 2 hole of the strap, everything working fine

OK, you can't download more applications but it has too many other features and of course a beautiful beautiful screen and a huge battery life. Really I love it. i suppose so, actually i ordered this watch recently waiting to arrive..( black one) this will be my 1st smart watch ever...since i am a G-SHOCK fan...in terms of durability, design, shock proof, dependability..most specially the solar powered ones...i have been watching many reviews on this HONOR-GS PRO ..and seems its better than the SAMSUNG watch..based on comparison and battery life..as well...well ill see and how it goes as soon as i get it...basically based on reviews, way better than the samsung watch...more features that you can use....and or other smart watches...THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEWS..IT HELPS A LOT TO MAKE DECISIONS.....
Hopefully you can do a video on in-depth function of the navigation. Eg, track back, etc, and whether it supports the use of famous trail apps/offline map. I wonder if it does the turn-by-turn voice navigation using a third party app? If it does that this watch is perfect.
I would have bought one of these but there is a known problem with the health app. It counts steps on the watch and phone so it doubles the count. There is no option to choose between sources. I tried a gt2 and a gt2 pro paired with a Hauwei phone and got the same thing so ended up sending them back. I'm currently evaluating a ticwatch pro 3 and an amazfit t rex pro which are both better in this respect.

I don't need all the bells and whistles, pay a lot and charge every night. Will only use it for the messages, so I don't need to check my phone all the time. Still waiting for the new Huawei Watch GT 2 PRO to come out in 2 weeks and will make my decision. The Honor will have the better battery life but the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro the better looks I think. What bothers me a lot is that unlike the watch itself, the synchronized Huawei Health app often tracks way too many steps (like a 100k instead of 6000), and that the watch sometimes displays the same notification many times in a row. These bugs have been around for a long time, and Huawei knows about them, but at least in the case of the wrong step count, they simply don't seem to care. The watch itself is great though, despite the sleep tracking not always being perfectly accurate, which is a shortcoming that probably applies to any other brand and model, too. I love the watches sturdiness and the outstanding battery life. I wouldn't want to have a Ticwatch or any other smartwatch if it comes at the cost of having to recharge it every 3 days.

I cannot find OneHop on my brand-new GS Pro, and I'm sure to have looked for it where it should be. Could that feature be activated only when paired to a compatible Huawei smartphone, or is it rather due to different versions depending on my country or region? I'd appreciate your comment on that, as I otherwise simply love this watch, and I was looking forward to that OneHop feature in order to transfer custom watchfaces. I prefer this to samsung classic 4... simply because i get more of what i do want (fitness, streamlined software and good battery life) and doesnt give me what I dont want... (gimmicky apps), navigation for petal maps works perfectly and I know the battery wont die. Worked brilliantly swimming too

No this watch has more collective workout modes and doesn't count reps for those kind of activities but other watches especially samsung watches suck at counting reps anyways
Your outdoor walk acivity has been stored in the watch. Those activities can be easily deleted from the health app thereafter. But how can they be removed from the watch? Was searching but couldn't find a delete button or anything.

Thanks for a gr8 review. Can you tell me if this watch has "Leg Ups" like the Samsung Gear 3 has in it exercise list please? Also , if its not to much trouble is the Samsung Gear 3 accurate in it's Leg Up measurements?
No this watch has more collective workout modes and doesn't count reps for those kind of activities but other watches especially samsung watches suck at counting reps anyways

Your outdoor walk acivity has been stored in the watch. Those activities can be easily deleted from the health app thereafter. But how can they be removed from the watch? Was searching but couldn't find a delete button or anything.
