I have been there numerous times and offered to adopt horses. I spoke with Sara, gave her my number and showed her photos of my ranch west of Steamboat. The Criteria for me is that they are healthy and can be opened barned, eat Organic Timothy Mountain grown hay and grass and run free, our pastures being very large. I have saved 4-5 horses over the years . I now have 8, We worm them 2x a year and do not grain them or give supplements. They all have lived out their lives happy and healthy. If you know of anyone in need, please contact me. Winter is not the best time to adopt, but we haven't reached that very cold weather yet. We are at 7200 ft.
