I MAY have used fire arrows last playthrough to try and destroy her flowers. She annoys me, I hate her, and the fact this is my 3rd playthrough and I have to do this AGAIN annoys me. Where do I find a bear?...🤔
@@ambermarietrivette1431 if you start by the Wetland stable and take the path towards the Woodland stable, you will come across a secluded little pocket of nature on your right, and there tends to be bear there. It's even somewhat close to the shrine in question! Ish
When I first found this, I had drift. Very, very bad drift. And felt bad cheating. So after running into that end flower countless times and finally getting into the shrine, I couldn't help but laugh my face off that the shrine, was about drifting. Well played Nintendo

I believe I approached this shrine from the ground initially, so gliding over was not how I did it the first time. There are so many different ways to approach things in this game.
Magda really is all emotion and no logic. Flowers are nice, and horticulture is almost as important as agriculture, but she flies off the handle for a mistake that Link wouldn't normally make in the first place. She's basically that obsolete AF anime-style misandry joke. If a regular NPC has the ability to kill the main character, send her ass after Calamity Ganon then! But the most selfish thing about Magda is, that Link needs to get to that shrine to get more powerful in order to defeat the being that's threatening all of Hyrule, including her and her precious flowers, and she's holding him back?!
I just glided over it when i did it, I miss playing Botw, Using the moonjump was so fun. and once the community found the menu storage(and all that fluffy good stuff), man that was a blaaaaaaast. This was amazingly high quality, keep up this work man!

Tbh I feel bad for her more than anything, that must’ve took a ton of bending down and patience, and she doesn’t seem like a patient person either. Although kinda stinky not to just clear a path to the shrine entrance, even if it’s just after he activates the shrine because now she has undeniable proof he’s the hero of light :I

this also makes me think. if hate link gets turned on (and presumably only gets turned off when you activate the cutscene with magdala) then you could technically escape eventide to get eventide storage with this. which would be 1. fun, and 2. doesnt cost rupees, and 3. noones ever done to my knowledge. i might try that :)
Unfortunately the on ground check only occurs inside the area tag covering most of the island. You can stand off the island and shoot the flowers to toggle the flag on and still not get snatched up. Definitely would be an amusing way to get eventide storage if not for that.
@Tako-Sensei IN THEORY THOUGH. The event can be triggered skipping the on the ground check by talking to Magda(Just like dorephan's cutscene for example in Zora's Domain). So, if you were to get her off of the island, setup Hate Link to true, then somehow get her to Eventide, you could trigger the cutscene by talking to her during the Eventide quest... But that would be insane even by my standards... I think later I am going to load up the emulator, shoot the flowers, go to Eventide and spawn Magda to see if it will work. Science needs to know.

Could not do anything. The bear eventually despawned and freed my from the prison at least.
I always shoot her flowers with fire arrows from far enough away that nothing triggers. Then i glide in to the shrine.
