Tbh, I loved jungle cup. One of the greatest limited cups I ever played. You could play SO many different teams. And It didn't felt like there was this one meta (team) that everybody played since day 2 like in every other cup. Asides Vigoroth ofc.
@@twistit4844 it was a very small meta. Quag, dragonite, vig, talonflame, and altaria everywhere. At least one of each in every game
@@PaulwardP that was the main meta, but people like me could have fun using non meta Pokemon like Buzzwole and Magnezone

Hey Dan, appreciate the content! Quick question- do you prefer gallade as a lead or as a closer/sweeper? I’ve seen most had it as a lead but your video early this season used it in the back with shield advantage, basically using the other pokemon to do what they can/grab shields. Thank you!

I might be wrong but I feel like you're not always consistent with whether you put the safe swap in the middle or at the bottom. You usually verbalize it anyways but it can still be a little confusing
6:29 the cycle of pokemon go is where something gets nerfed, then all of its good matchups take advantage of this become popular. Then the nerfed pokemon returns back stronger. I'd say stunfisk, medi, trev, noctowl, altaria and walrein (old meta) are still very strong as nobody builds to beat them.
I caught about 40 Vullaby none of them had the stats to make a good Mandibuzz for the Great League. They made great for Ultra and Master Leagues, but CP won't go that high. I run into that problem a lot. I've never seen a Deoxys and I caught about 300 Woopers, but they were all trash. The best Clodsire had a Rank of 1651.
My first mandibuzz (from an egg hatch) has less than ideal IVs for GL, but I still think having one is better than not having one. You should still build one for GL if you can.
Shadow gallade double tank is great but it definitely can be tough against a lead like shadow feraligatr
True. Maybe if you switch the Carbink with something else it would be fine.
I would love to do better, but i keep losing to so much LAG. it is infuriating. ill miss out on a few fast moves or completely get screwed up on my charge move timing. it gets borderline unbearable at least 2/3 games
Is deoxys worth the 100k stardust for second move without pvp ivs
I run raid IVs and it still put a good fight only caught 1 in a raid awhile ago so had to make due 😂😂

I really wish I could play Togedemaru without feeding players the game favors, but this pokémon is only for lucky players. At least two pokémon counter it in every game and they're never weak enough to Dragonair or Feraligatr for the game to be winnable in any way.

Does Registeel need pvp IVs??
No pokemon really needs pvp ivs, but they're almost always better than not having them. Regi loses a lot of bulk and the lock ons still only do 1 damage with 15 attack so preferably you do want high def and stamina. Raid ivs are good if you can get a 10 or 11 attack at most

For the DD, mandibuzz, and clodsire team, is mandi or clod the safe swap? They're both good switches, so it depends on which is a worse counter to their lead probably, right?
I believe that's Dan's general rule, which I've followed and agree with: if you have to switch on lead, and both of your back mons are ok switches, go into the one that has the worse matchup
