mine takes 8 hours and I wear them for 1-2 months. I feel like 2 weeks would feel so soon for the amount of time I spend installing them but I think I need to start doing 2 weeks because my scalp is so sensitive
@@Brandiisbeloved I would love to wear them that long but my scalp is also sensitive and i have tried washing my hair while in twists and then refreshing them after wash and that took me 7 hours. So it takes me much less time to take them out, wash and then reinstall. You have to do what works for you!
Gorgeous hair! Great point about the thick leave-in. I think that's been an issue for me recently; my hair has been underhydrated! Going back to the basics myself with cantu! Have been a medium-sized twist girlie these days; around 28-30 total on my head. Would love more videos just going through the process, and hairstyles to try!
Beautiful results. 💕 I opt for mini flat twists vs. mini twists. Last year, I had a locking disaster while wearing mini twists. So I decided to try mini flat twists instead. Install time is cut in half, plus my roots stay stretched. It takes me 3 hours to install. I get at least 3 to 4 weeks of wear with them. My hair is currently at mid back length.
Can you please tell me your JBCO to EVOO ratio? I've watched many mini twists videos and you take the cake with 2 1/2 to 3 hrs installs. Definitely subscribing to your mini twists length retention journey. Few more videos and I'll be ready soon.😂 HAPPY HAIR GROWING ❤
Love Love Love you Paige...Been supporting you from the beginning...Our hair types are mirroring each other...I actually started using the Cream of Nature Curl Cream because of your product tutorial 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾...I love how you do these two strand styles, but I'm not a fan of the banana clip...To me, it looks very odd on your hair...I think your style looks too good for that barret style huge clip...Love you and I will continue to support your posts...Love * Lite...😊
I’m a mini twist girl I started November of 2023 and I redo them every 2 weeks and I didn’t realize how thick my hair was until I could feel the ceiling fan wind on my scalp😂
Hello new subscriber here! Your hair is beautiful You have the same type of hair as me and i think im high porosity because my hair get dry really fast. Ive been at bra strap length for 2 years now and wants to get past this plateau. My edges also are thinning out really bad especially the right side can you please give me tips on how to grow my edges back and to get past this hair plateau??? Please respond!
Hey firstly welcome to the glow up fam😊💖💖. In order to retain length you need to create a hair routine. Start off simple. When it comes to natural hair, you have to constantly keep it moisturized. I like to use the LCO method to moisturize my hair. I moisturize 2-3 times a week. I’m very consistent with my moisture routine. This has helped my hair retain moisture very well. Also, you want to create a wash day routine. Figure out how often you will be washing your hair, will it be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. When it comes to your edges, leave them alone. If you’re adding too much tension to them they will continue to break. Try to stay away from tight hairstyles like ponytails and braids. Keep your edges moisturized and protected at night with a bonnet or silk scarf. If you would like a detailed wash day routine video check out my playlist. Hope this helps😊💖💖
I prefer braids. Yes they take forever to install 😂 but they give me better results with stretching, and not shrinking up 😅. I would have loved 😍 to rock twists but they'll just lock up 😂
@@GlowupwithPaige okay ma 🤗 I do twists occasionally though, for speed or ease. But for a long term, I like braids. But I'll try twists and see maybe if I could do a retwist like every two weeks or at the end of the month. Or what do you think ma?
You are my inspiration, I wait for you to post to keep me encouraged, with my twist journey
Awwww how sweet and thank you 😊💖💖 It’s comments like this that keeps me motivated.
@@GlowupwithPaige thank you for being genuine in your journey. 🫶🏾
Your has really grown! It’s so healthy and thick! I absolutely love your natural hair journey!
Aww thank you so much💖💖💖😊
I’m wearing 12 twists today 😅 Going to wear a twistout tomorrow. I’m too lazy to install mini twists. Yours look cute!
lol I totally understand and thank you😊💖💖
So happy that you posted. Your hair is growing nicely. I'm a mini twist girl
Hey hun 😃 thanks so much for always supporting 💖💖
Loving the twist. I actually just started a twist journey
I always do braids but want to give twist a try
Thank you💖💖
Hey Mrs Paige, we missed you over here, girl. I'm happy to know that you will be posting more often. I'm excited 😊
Hey hun I miss you guys too😊💖💖 Sorry I’ve been missing. Work and family had me super busy these past weeks.
I’ve been using that leave in and it is super moisturizing!
Yess it really is. That’s why I’m so obsessed with it.
Beautiful twists. Beautiful hair. Tfs.
Thank you so much😊💖💖
Thank you for this video I always thought people needed combs to part their hair but now I’m going to practice parting with my fingers
You’re welcome😊💖💖. Most people use combs if they want their parts to be straight but I didn’t care if mines weren’t.
@@GlowupwithPaige ok
Love your video Paige. I like doing mini twists every two weeks and it takes me about 5-1/2 hours.
Same here except it takes me 3 1/2. - 4 hours. Mini twists save so much time. Do you wash your hair before a new set of twists

Yes continue to do what works for you.
Thanks for sharing your routine everyone!
Great idea with putting your hair in chunky twist before doing the mini!!! Ill have to try that. It makes the task less intimidating.
Thanks hun and yess it really does.
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
You’re very welcome 😊💖💖
😀Nice video paige and hair looking healthy as usual 👌
Hey Joy thanks a bunch😊💖💖

Thank you😊💖💖 I realized that thicker creams work best for my hair. I’m currently editing my 2 week mini twists update. Will be uploaded tomorrow.

Thank you so much💖💖 for the oil mixture you can do half JBCO and half EVOO in a bottle. It’s equal parts.
Gorgeous!!!!

Hey thanks so much for always supporting💖💖 and I appreciate your feedback. I thought it was quite funny 😂
Nice. Very nice. Do you know of away to stop your twist from puffing up? My hair dread with the braids ?
Thank you😊💖 Have you tried rope twisting? That’s another technique you can use.
❤❤❤i like medium twist. But i also think it depends on the density of your hair. And if your strands are fine or thick.
💖💖💖💖 Yess you’re correct and thanks for sharing.
Hello. In another video you used mango butter. How did u prepare it?
I use it straight out of the package. I didn’t do anything to it. No whipping, no melting, no nothing.
Hi Paige! Your hair looks so,so good! I usually style my hair in medium twists. I’ll start with mini twists then get tired and they turn into medium 😂
😂😂😂😂 I can totally relate.
This week, my hair is in mini twists. The medium twists did not last too long this week. I hope you and your family had a blessed weekend 🫶🏽
Thanks for sharing and same to you😊💖💖
Hi,I leave my protective style in
1 month-3 months
Oh wow. What protective style do you normally wear?
@@GlowupwithPaige cornrows or double strand twist
You need to do a video with your stables
Will do!

😂😂😂
Do you blow dry it before you twist it?
No I didn’t.

Yes that sounds like a plan. See how your hair responds with re twisting every 2 weeks then you can go from there.
@@GlowupwithPaige okay, I really appreciate your response. Thank you 🤗
Same with me.
You could have banded it and used metal clips on the ends, it’ll make them stay stretched .
Oh wow I never thought about doing that. I’ll give it a try next time. Thanks for the tip🙂
