Eurovision In Concert, Amsterdam
Interview with the representatives of The Netherlands at Eurovision Song Contest 2014 The Common Linnets
Eurovision - The Common Linnets (Ilse De Lange, Waylon) - Calm After The Storm
Евровидение - Нидерланды - The Common Linnets (Илзе Де Ланж, Вайлон)
In just 36 hours I was captivated by 'Calm After the Storm', bought their album and it has become an instant favourite, and now they are one of my favourite artists. Phenomenal talent and they seem like profoundly down to earth and humble people. I love them and wish them all the greatest success in their career!
My God! they're so perfect. I hope to see The Netherlands again in the final.
They are so lovely! Curious about the performance at semi final 1. They wil ending in top 10, just wait and see.
One of the best this year, my #2!! Pure talent!!
Beautiful people and amazing song! Good luck! :)
Really talented and sensitive people. Good luck NL
Even though the lyrics are a bit sad, this song makes me feel happy.
They so gooood! And so cute :) . Think they ending top 10
They deserve to be in the Grand Final. We know how is the phone voting in Eurovision... so I hope the juries help them to qualify. Good luck from Spain!
so damn cuteeee. and they sing so wellll! love it
Lovely video. I'm very curious to see how their song will do in the big machine that is eurovision.
love the Dutch entry this year
I love how the interviewer asks one of the country's most famous singers if she's ever been to Amsterdam
And then later he calls it their hometown. (Sorry to be responding to an almost decade old comment, I happened to come across this video again haha.)
They are nice.
" I still cry" after the final results of the Eurovision Song Contest.
As soon as they sang "Drivin' in the fast lane" I instantly thought of Rebecca Black. Like WTF BRAIN??
omfg they're so cute
Perhaps they should perform it like this totally unplugged.THAT would make a musical statement ...... and makes it so much energetic compared to the studio version
pruppie03 i don't you're right about the thing that it's not allowed to play live music, only singing live. because last year almost every country had live music
Ow.. well.. i think that if there is a band playing live that there doesn't have to be an recording version of the music where they're singin along
pruppie03
It would be good live, but not practical: every act would need time to set up the instruments, plug them in, do a soundcheck, etc.
With all due respect, this song works stronger when Ilse's lead vocals are stronger mixed than Waylon's ........ i hope they work that out in Copenhagen ....!
I guess they did ;)
