I heard you say that you are selling your "old stuff". What are they? My business is off to a slow start because I want to operate it in a debt free manner, therefore, I am buying things when I actually have the money for it, not charging anything on a credit card to pay over time for it. I know I will get there tho (to the top). 60 inch wide polyester drapes what is a reasonable price per foot to charge?

One of the single best investments you can make is a 4 thread serger. I got a brother on amazon for less than $250.
What is a serger?
@@donwilliams2685 Its like an overlock machine. Comes in 3, 4, 5 + thread spool options. Depending on your budget and what u use it for.
A serger finishes raw edges.

I’d use the same formula I explained in this video. If adding any sort of embellishments, increase price.
Great Message. I am just getting started in the event business, doing a lot of practicing but now it is time for me to start making money...I heard you say do a lot of mock ups and post. I take pictures of everything and post to the different social medias I have but sometimes I don't know how to put it in words to get attention to my mock ups. How would you recommend wording the mock up pictures. (I hope I did not confuse you.)

What about for 7ft by 6ft wide ? for double dropping plus 8 characters (18ft tall?) I was thinking $260. Each character I am selling for 20. And double dropping 100? Is it too low. Plus delivery. I am lost.
Also I did a hoop with paper flowers (5 each) with double sheer voile and lights. $100 because they did delivery. Is it too low?
