I think Dom is one of the few riders that are genuinely up for a laugh with anyone he has a chat with and sometimes he's misunderstood for that. As the saying goes 'It takes a wise man to act a fool' he's a bloody good bloke. Best of luck for the season Dom 💣
Completely agree, always enjoyed listening to him talk and watching his exploits. Randomly bumped into him at knockhill last year after his little off at the TT and it felt like you were talking to a friend you'd known for years, absolutely genuinely such a great guy and will always wish him the best. Top lad!
I really couldn’t take to Dom on Chasin the Racin, but I was so impressed with his 2023 TT rides, that I decided to take a bit more notice of him. And I’ve decided that I was completely wrong in my initial opinion of him. He’s a really decent bloke, and a heck of a good rider. His rides on the BMW in BSB, his TT outings deserve total respect, and I truly hope he gets the support that his skill deserves. 👍👍
I signed up last year to the TT live stream to specifically watch Dom because of chasing the racing , Chrissy and him were so entertaining on the pod cast they seemed like great blokes, I was surprisingly gutted when I heard about Chrissy, it was like losing a mate even though I never met him. Living in Australia the TT is not something that is easy to get to or cheap, but I will sit up into the wee small hours to catch the racing and dream of getting there one day. All the best to Dom in the future and many thanks to the Rouse family for keeping Chrissy’s spirit alive with continuing the pod cast, it brings a bit of joy to the world. 👍👍👍👍
Very interesting you said that about Chrissy Rouse because it was the same for me. No idea why I was so gutted, normally I'd just think _"That's a shame"_ and that would be that, I didn't know him or anything so why would it affect me? But for some reason his passing really got me down. I thought I was being weird so it's interesting to see I wasn't the only one. Maybe it's because he just came across so well as a genuinely nice person?
"Forddriver". Really tells you everything you need to know about this guy. Dom is humble. Doesn't toot his own horn. He's as hungry as any rider. Look at his results. His problem is money.
@@jdahack7367 HIs problem is his anxiety as is obvious when others are trying to get a word in as he constantly interjects. This is something that affects everything one does.
Love the bloke. He's came on such a long way since I first heard him on the first podcast and i wasn't sure ìf I'd take to him, being honest. But man, he's so relatable in real life and actually too humble about his racing life. The last few years he's became a strength in every aspect of his life and career. New man. This last year we've felt for him and cried with him and then laughed with him and the pride I've got for Dominic Herbertson is off the scale. And Gracie Rouse. Team Chasin the racin is a force, the story has a long way to go yet! Jamie just got the best interview outta Dom that's ever been one, not even Chrissy could get all that out of him on camera. Well done for a superb video.
Was about to add my view about Dom in a separate comment but then saw your name come up in the comments Mr Keast. We must be brothers from another mother. . Dom is as talented as he is a great bloke. Defo deserves a factory ride.Followed his progress for a while now. God speed for the TT - best 2 weeks of races in the world.
@@andykeast8920 We're few and far between, us Keasts! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who's pretty obsessed with the TT. It's my biking highlight of the entire year every year. The new coverage is exceptional, enjoy every long awaited second of it Andy. 👌
Good luck this year Dom. Still love chasin the racin, your doing Chrissy and his family proud. Brought a tear to my eye when you spoke about Chrissy he was the best!
Am fortunate to have bumped into Dom a few times in normal life ( not at a circuit) and he is so down to earth, had plenty of time to talk to me even though he didn't have to. Doing the North east proud lad.
Dom a good down to earth no bullshite or ego type of person. The more i see of him, the more i like him. Total respect in doing what they are doing with the CTR pod. Really enjoyed that. Two enthusiastic real people chatting.👍🏼
Wish you all the best this year Dominic. We love you. You are a credit to the sport. It baffles me that one of the big teams haven't snapped you up when less quality and less experienced riders get factory bikes. Sometimes there's no justice in this world. Definitely a podium finisher on the right bike. Love Chasin the racin. Thanks to you and Grace for that. Thanks Jamie. Great vid.
Absolutely class interview as ever 😎😎😎😎😎😎 whits mint as ever and dom what a great ambassador for the TT god knows why someone hasn’t signed him up 🤷♂️🙌😁
It was lovely to listen to you Dom and actually talk about yourself and how it all began for you rather than you keep dodging questions, good onya and all the very best to you and the rest of your team for this year TT 👍
Brilliant interview Loved it Doms a real enthusiastic racer and person All respect to you bike racers especially the TT Crissy sadly missed dom and him the prefect presenters of c t r
Absoluetly flippin brilliant boys ! Whit i remeber watching you pinned round Brands in the 97 BSB completely flat out and full lean coming out of clear ways ...Legend ! and Dom your dedication and down to Earth mentallity and devotion to your racing and the memory of your best bud and respect for his family are inspirational ! P.S How do we get our hands on Dom the Bomb Merch pls ? is it for sale anywhere? Awesome boys Cheers
Amazing interview, obviously huge respect for Dom and Jamie is a superb interviewer he has that gift of getting people talking and his knowledge of the sport is a joy to listen to. I would love to see him on the tt coverage. Wishing Dom all the best for this year.
Hope 2 see ya soon TT CANT WAIT I'm from the Isle of man this time every year I turn into a big kid excited who's every one's money on hicky Dean and of course Michael but I really want conner to get it done good luck everyone stay safe Paul ❤🎉😂😮😮
Dom how did you get to the tt without getting an international license, I was working with northeast racer Geoff Johnson who won the senior manx in 1980 he only got a ride at the tt in 1981 because he erned enough points to get his international license by winning that manx. I did the manx in 2003 and i needed a full national licience to gain an entry. It seems to me it is so easy to get to the tt now. PS keep up your work on the podcasts.
He has come on leaps and bounds since his Dad said he wouldn't make a TT rider, nice lad is Dom, got some lovely pictures of him in the Manx, see you around kid.

Insane respect for Jamie...love him and he is such an incredible individual! ❤
How can you not love Dom! I really hope this man can achieve his goal of getting a factory ride one day. The guy deserves it!
Dom's always preferred trying to get a laugh and tell a story rather than be the lean, focused, results driven racer type.
👊
