Interesting. I never bothered going that deep in terms of setup. I usually play with some 40+ leagues and 120k players. FM isn't a game that you play with time in mind anyway. Have a cup of tea, watch some stream on the other monitor and have a laid back game. That is how I do it, at least :D
I noticed this quite recently after starting my save. Had players I wanted to loan and about 6 of them never got interest at all, I did the whole continent thing with the players at the start of the save and yeah its fun to find the wonderkids but 80% is players you never touch. So i've added playable to several leagues for the next season, just a little conscious that it may slow the game down in terms of processing day by day in game.
Although I think that the definition of 'fun' is very individual, thanks for getting into this basic aspect of FM. Two additional questions in this regard: will a view-only league with full detail (FME) be similiar to a playable league (with or without) full detail? Is there a difference between a playable league and a view-only league both using the QME?
A view only league with full detail could be fine, when it comes to player growth rates, there is only a 1 for 1 replacement, so each time a wonderkid retires, a wonderkid is replaced. So you won't see scaling. Scaling only happens with fully loaded leagues.
Thanks. Lol...did notice that the computer performance/game processing speed was a tad bit slower than in the other video where you posted the leagues you were playing with when you were streaming. 😉
Which one do you think increase the ai being harder opponent and making your life harder, adding more playable leagues or adding more players to the database from different continents by custom? Any suggestion would be appreciated. What i did with my last save was to add 8 nations playable with 1st divisions and my league with 3 divisions and add continents players to database from custom around 120k players. Is this one more challenging or any other way to have more competitive ai. Thank you.
Running fm24 on a laptop, it's a decent setup but not built for gaming, before I added all the skins, logos, facepacks etc it was the fastest FM I've ever played! I always worried about adding leagues and usually stick to the big 4/5 leagues in Europe and have Brazil too but they're all non playable.... Just because I was worried about game speed....I might try this out and see if it's ok...
It’s important to make the leagues playable and set the detail level too. Both are needed. The processing speed will be affected by detail level, so cherry pick what you need.
There is a benchmarking thread on SI forums and since rigs can have different permutations, it’s hard to answer that question. Best bet is to check the thread and estimate based on the rig you hv
I have found that players I sign from other clubs are generally better developed because those leagues and the leagues players are loaned to are being played in full detail. When that happens it uses more calculations for player development.

Yeah I forgot to increase detail level for 2 leagues, it bumped my processing power.
Amazing video - It never sits right with me adding loads of players from continents that are just sat doing nothing.

Make the top teams in Europe all have 200 CA PA players with 20 in all attributes, your team can only use normal players. Then try and win the league/
Does anyone know what computer requirements you need to load more leagues? Like more ram or a faster processor etc.

Is there any sort of benchmarking or way of knowing just how much slow down is added when you change leagues to the FME?

So do you think there would be better squad building by other teams?

the AI too easy to play with?! haha the AI of this game is one of the hardest AI there is in any genre besides the SOFTWARE games
Once you get good regens and a good team you walk the league
