Seconding the Duo ABC suggestion! I never hear other homeschoolers talking about it, but it’s a great, free, ad-free resource that has been awesome for my kid. I have him use the WriteRight stylus when he works on it and the combination has done wonders for his reading, writing, and proper pencil grip!

It's such a great app! I'm also surprised that not many homeschoolers talk about it or use it.

We have a lot of science supplies but we do a lot of science!!! We use anatomy colouring books where my older kids colour in different parts of the bodies!!! This yr we have a health and nutrition focus on science!!! I plan the same way!!! We love write by number!!! We love Duolingo ABC!!! My teenage daughter grew up with veggies tails a Christian cartoon and I have no issues with it!!! My younger kids love it!!! My teenage daughter still cuddles her bob the tomato toy!!! I love buying fun phonics readers!!! I meal plain in a flexible way as well!!! I’m reading the 8 great smarts!!! I only buy curriculum when I need to, I refuse to buy it in the spring!!!

To be honest, they need to learn how to be good people when they're young. They can learn how awful we humans have been in the past when they get older and can practice using their critical thinking skills.
