Once upon a time a washer and dryer could last decades. Whirlpool bought up the competition and now the next document you get in the mail is the three year warranty that costs as much as the new unit. Our new Whirlpool HE washer lasted two years before the dreaded squealing belt started.
My moms been hanging on to a unit for going on 30 years. Dries in 30 minutes, had to replace a few parts over the years, belts etc, but the thing still works like a doctor. Now I’m looking at a washer that’s 2 years old that takes 3 hours to get thru a quick wash cycle then goes back to wash lol. Same unit as the one in the video
It is such a blessing an help when someone posts a video that knows what the hell they are doing. Thank you. My issue so far has been exactly duplicated. Now for the next video, sensing shifter replacement.
Awesome info! Thanks! I have a similar model. Mine was filling ok but a bit slow, and as soon as it filled, it would drain without agitating and then sit idle with wash light on forever..then I would abort/cancel the cycle and start it over. I timed the fill and it was 30+ minutes. Checked the inlet screens, plugged up pretty bad. Cleaned them, now it fills in 5-12 minutes depending on the cycle and functions perfectly... What I learned is check and clean the inlet screens at least twice a year..
I read the manual that some are mentioned below. It says you have to turn it clockwise to start getting the most recent error codes. It also says that the first sensing light indicates no error. Since you turned it to the left, it could mean that there is no error recorded that far
I have had three of this style washer (mayteg and whirlpool brand) they have been nothing but problematic. Constant hub stripped, washplate failure, shift motor, and other random issues. Mine is acting up once again this week. I'm going to try speed queen and hope for the best 🤷
Thank you so much! I have the same exact make and model and the diagnostics you shown also.shpwn my sewing light flashing. So I ordered the part you posted I. Thanks for the tips. I found that service manual under that one side. But the plastic bag it was in would not let go. I ended up taking a pair of scissors and cutting the top of the back and pulling the pamphlet out. It was a little mangled from my pulling and yanking but I got it out.
Showing the location of the service tech manual was a godsend. Trying to find help online for technical details about my particular Series 500 (which is like yours) keeps directing me to information about other models that isn't helpful.
No plastic bag, no lights, on this process worked last year, but not this yr, sounds expensive to repair. I seems to work, but clothes come out smelling like mildew. Great video! One question: I have the same washer, but it stops at the rinse circle. What could possibly be the problem. I have already replaced the inlet valve, and I do have water coming in. Thank you so much for your time.
According to the manual on my machine. If only the sensing light is flashing this means NO Error. The manual says the first flash will flash the sensing light plus another light, this is the function code. The second flash the sensing light will be off and any other lights flashing indicate the error code. You then combine the function code and the error code to determine the cause listed in the manual you referenced.
Hi! Thank you for explaining everything how the diagnose. I did change the shifting sensor and I still have the same error, same issue. is anything else I can do. Please let me know
Hands down the most helpful video ever! I’m definitely subscribing to you after this! Thank you sooo much!! I saved so much money instead of calling a technician! 🙏🙏
I have an Admiral top loader (a rebranded whirlpool). It would stop in mid cycle for no apparent reason. The codes indicated a bad control board. This would be time to buy a new washer if you had to get a new board, very expensive. I got a used one on eBay for $20 though, replaced it myself and it works great! (I thought it best to run through a calibrate cycle, look for that on YT). Make sure to get the same part number. They come in a few versions.
Mine is having issues as well. I will use this to diagnose. When washing, the barrel doesn't move. The cloths just lie still. But when it rinses, it spins. Is there 2 belts?
Does the water have to be connect to simply run the diagnostic? Also, with the last turn in the video, it landed on sensing. What if the washer has nothing wrong with it? Will there be no lights? please let me know. In other words, after we reach done, and then press start... what should happen after that if the washer works just fine?
after every wash i need to use my high speed spinner machine because the washing comes out very wet and when i put it in the spinner machine buckets of water comes out, and if i dont use the spinner machine and put the clothes straight from the washing machine to the tumble dryer it takes a lot of time, i would not recommend personally.
Dude say turn it to rinse but its to the after care clean, although the light is rinse. Lol 1st time I just listen to the vid as he was saying what to do. 2nd time I watched. Seems to be working and thank you for a quick vid to the point very helpful. I liked the vid so maybe it can help more ppl with a quick fix
I have the same exact code. The control board is what the code is for. I keep reading different answers. But the shift actuator was never even on the list for that code.
Will this also cause it not to fill up? I did the test and it showed the sensing thing. And you also here a click when it’s in spin mood it won’t do anything could it still be the sensing wire
I've got the same problem. After doing this diagnostic on it ..the sensing and spin lights are blinking...now what???? Lol. I'm going to get another washer. Good luck
ours will start a new load and wash it then drain.....then it stops at wash and flashes while making a click noise every few seconds and will not move on. At first sometimes it would go through all the way fine and then at times we could cancel and start again from just "rinse and drain" and it would go on through but not anymore. It will not calibrate but I am getting the same diagnostic code as you are here. So would that still be the shift sensor in your opinion?
Thanks so much. The error code we got was that the first button turned green, on our machine it's the fill button. Where do I find what the fill error code stands for? Thank you again for the useful video.
Open the lid and check around the inside walls of the frame of the washer (not inside the washing drum where the clothes go, but inside the outside walls of the machine (like he first shows in the video). Your manual will be in there and will tell you what all lights/codes mean.
Yes here is a link for the transmission and one for the shifter switch th-cam.com/video/nWJJiCRlvKE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/epHUJJVenJY/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your video. I did all of this, ordered a new shift actuator, installed it, and still nothing works. Tried to call Whirlpool --they are no help. They want to just schedule a repair appointment. Tried their website--want to charge you to talk to a technician there, too! Whirlpool has an awful product and awful customer service.
You might have to unplug it for 5 min and then plug it back in and it should reset in about 5 min. Also make sure you put the blankets on the large load setting.
My washer wasnt doin anything just sensing but nothing else. I change that shifter with an use one now it washes fine and stuff but now it wont spin do you think is the used actuator i just put in. The thacometer is with tbe actuator right?
You could check the door switch. Also try to reset the washer. Unplug it for 30 seconds and the plug it in. Turn the knob yo normal and lift the lid 6 times before the first 30 seconds of being plugged back in.
OFF AXIS BUILDS Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I followed your diagnostic checker and it was the sensing cycle. Before I tried to get the part and someone to replace it, I thought I would try this reset. Voila! It works again! You are the best!😀
What do you do when this fix didn't work? I replaced this switch and still have the same issue and same diagnostic results after the repair. Great video but inconclusive. Now what? I'm going to the laundry mat again today.
Do you know why this same washer wouldn't do a spin cycle after replacing the same part you did on this? I initially had this same issue, but now it will run the cycle without a full spin. I have reset the calibration as well.
Mine just keeps repeating a cycle from right to left on the led's . Haven't been able to track down any information on that. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Do any lights at all come on? You may have to try several times to get it in diagnostics Or you may have a bad circuit board Or there is something disconnected on the board or motor Let us know what you find
Thank you for the video. I went through the steps and got the ‘sensing’ signal just like in your video doing replaced the sensor just like the videos. My washer still isn’t working. Thoughts?
Thanks for the upload! I got the following 3 errors, should I call a tech to fix or go buy new? F7E5 = Shifter Fault F7E6 = Motor Fault F8E1 = No Fill/ Long Fill
Honestly I would fix it. But that is entirely up to you. How much money have you dumped into that machine? A new Mach will run you about $800-1200 on the low side. These fixes will probably around 200 to fix.
@@OFFAxisBuilds None, it came with the house when I recently bought it. So dont how old it is or how much it originally cost. Thank you for the reply, I had no idea it as to what the costs could be for repair, which is why I didn't know whether I should call someone to fix it or go buy new.
Honestly if you don’t love the machine I would replace it. It’s a bottom of the line machine. But like I said if you want to repair it, it would cost around 200-300 and there’s no guarantee that the machine will last. I fixed mine just out of warranty and it was a year old, but if it was 2-3 years old I probably would of just got a new one because this machine has been nothing but a head ache.
We have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer (WTW5500BW0) that only clicks rapidly when start is pressed. F7E6 & F7E5 codes. Will this repair be costly? Should we just purchase a new washer?
I have the same washer and it got stuck in wash mode. While being stuck on wash, it makes a noise and doesn’t drain. We tried doing diagnostics but it is stuck on wash..Do you know what could be wrong?
So my washer would start to fill, get about half way through the filling cycle, then the washer shuts off (no lights on) and automatically drains. I ran the diagnostic test and replaced the actuator and still does the same thing.. any other suggestions?
I purchased this exact washer last week, I had Lowe’s pick it up and send me another one and it is still doing the same thing. This is a brand new machine and it just stays on sensing. I do not understand what is the problem with whirlpool. I’ve done the diagnostic and tried to reset it but it just keeps making the clutch noise and stays in sending. This is very frustrating.
Marc Mas onestly if you just bought it I would return it. But if you want to fix it I would turn it over and check to make sure the belt didn’t slip off during transport.
Just had this washer delivered to my house, and it's a piece of crap, within 45 minutes of having it I was on the phone with Lowes requesting the come and get this crap, ol school washing machines are the best, I'm buying a used washer soon
@@OFFAxisBuilds so i replaced the shift sensor thing recently. Washer seems to be on sensing and i hear a pulse sound and it keeps trickling water. Wont switch over to wash cycle. The water sounds like it fills normally
My washer is having this exact problem. After pressing start while done is selected and all are blinking, I clicked it counterclockwise as you did in the video. It was blinking sensing. I tried diagnostic mode again but turned it clockwise and different things lit up. I am confused on what my issue is now 🥴
Mine gets paused before rinse mode. I have to go out and hit the start button multiple times during a wash to complete a wash. Do you know what the issue may be?
My washing machine has the final cycle light on flashing so I can't get it into the mode to reset/calibrate the machine. Any ideas? If I press start it locks the lid but doesn't spin
+Matt Monroe try unplugging it waiting 5-10 before plugging it back in. The after you plug it in press the start button 10 times. It will do a hard reset.
I have Ditto Same model...When we Put the Load..Its Senses ,Then Door Doesn't lock on any mode (except Rinse and Spin Mode).. Then it washes for 2 minutes and then that's it..What could be the problem..
Hey so I just did the diagnose and the sensing fill light was the code that went off and I figured since my washer won’t start doing anything but flash that light the minute I try to wash a load. Did you ever put out the video of you fixing it?
Thanyou. I looked everywhere to find out how to run a diagnostics on my whirlpool WTW5000DW2 I did exactly what u showed here n yea sure enough its a sensing issue.
@@OFFAxisBuilds ok so i figured out it only has sensing malfunctions when i try to wash blankets in it. I attempted to wash my table linens last night after seeing your video to figure out what was wrong. N it went thru all the cycles like normal when I washed my table linens. But when I throw a heavy blanket in it, it wont go into wash mode. Stuck in Sensing everytime i tried to wash any heavy blankets.
Well a link to your next video will help you have a bunch of videos. Maybe I’ll buy you a coffe😅 So I followed your exact moves and mine gives me a flashing sensor light as well. But so we know we have the same issue. Can I ask. ? So what was the actual symptom ? Mine just cuts off when it’s time to rinse. It won’t pump the soapy water out although it will pump it out if you play with it. When it finally drains it the lid won’t lock. But it will lock if you can start a load. Just never finishes it until you play around with it. Mine is a whirl pool but slightly different than yours. I have all the same lights. Just a couple extra knobs.
I have the same machin. My issue with it everytime I push start it goes straight to the rinse cycle. I can't seem to find a fix for this anywhere. Would you be able to help me?
Does it actually say rinse or do you just hear the water during the sensing cycle? Try unpluggingit for 30 seconds Then plug it back in Then press the start button 20 times before it fully turns on. It should reset your machine
I would try and in plug it for about 5 min and then plug it back in. Then press the start button 10 times right after you plug it in. . That should reset the system.
Please I need your help desperately 😢 mine is an xpert system model 8mwtw1725cg1 and the LEDs are off, it was working, it got stucked while rinsing or at least it was trying to do so, my aunt did something and now I just can't make it work again, I tried all the resets, nothing has worked :( what else can I do?
just bought one of these used, thought maybe was shifter was bad,...machine would not spin according to last owner the spinning got slower and slower until she said it wouldnt spin a all... at first when I plugged it in. it went into sensing mode then lid lock light would come on . you could hear clicking then nothing...,....took shifter out tested good put back in , now the dang machine won't light up, acts like it is dead.... ready to pull my hair out
@@OFFAxisBuilds thank you for your fast replies. After watching several videos and reading several comments, I learned that my hot water valve was shut off. 🤦🏼♂️ my wash temp was set to high. I feel stupid, but glad it works now.
My washer makes 3 loud grinding noises when trying to go into high spin. Then it reverts to a slower spin causing the cloths to remain soaked. I’m thinking it’s a gear issue
@@OFFAxisBuilds Same problem here with same model washer. Yesterday, it started grinding when going into spin mode, and then went to done. The wash cycle worked just fine though. I checked the drain hoses and pumps and no blockages, so this too sounds like the problem on mine. Very annoying. probably plastic.
How bad was the grinding? Was it a quick noise or did it last ? If it was quick it might be your shifter switch. If it was a long grinding noise that could be your transmission is going bad. I would try this part first being that it’s only $40 Whirlpool W10913953 www.amazon.com/dp/B01N38MC0R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share If that doesn’t fix it then it’s probably your transmission. $250 Whirlpool W11035751 Transmission www.amazon.com/dp/B077B9ZW85?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Oddly enough, I have the same model & the trouble-shooting didn't work for me! I had to get my husband to take a look at it & I was trying to do this on my own. He figured it out without looking at the instructions... slightly irritating. This is the biggest pain in the butt washer I've ever had! So much for going with a low-tech washer...
I have a wash just like that one it's filling to wash but not washing it lets out the water it sounding like it struggling to turn. I did the calibration about 6 times and it didn't work it didn't fill the water I had to manually put water and put it to wash it sounding like it going to wash but it's not after 2 hrs it started to wash on its own but when it finish wash and drain it didn't fill to rinse si I fill to rinse manually but it's not rinsing
It depends. IR you in the diagnostic mode. If you are then you need to get your maintenance book out and flip to the page that tells you hat the blinks stand for. The book usually is under the life between the drum and front sheet metal.
Exact same problems as diagnosed. Seriously a great video with out a manual. It won’t spin to wring out laundry. Stops there and starts rinse cycle again
If you hear a loud noise when it is trying to shift then it might be your transmission. That part is about $300. I noticed I replaced three shifter switches and then I had to replace my transmission.
I have this same washer. I started a load and left when I came back the clothes were not clean and sopping wet. I started it again on drain and spin. Now no lights will come on. I waited 24 hours and finally got a light so I started the washer and it got stuck on locked lid. Unplugged it and now no lights are working again. I tried the left right motions but still no lights are coming on. No weird noises either. ?? Any ideas
Hi my Whirlpool wtw5000dw3 keeps tripping my gfci and everytime I turn it back on its on rinse. I've washed several smaller loads between when this started and now and it goes thru the cycle fine. Any idea what I should look for? I'm subscribing to your channel
Also you might want to run it on a different circuit. They shouldn’t be on a gfi. Unless you are saying your circuit breaker keeps tripping. Also check your circuit breaker it might be worn out or the wire is slightly loose.
@@OFFAxisBuilds yes the circuit breaker will trip. But it's only been doing it with heavier loads. Smaller loads it doesn't trip. My house is only a year old and same for the washer so I just thought it was strange. But everytime I have had to reset the circuit breaker and the washer comes back on its on the rinse cycle.

Are the items that remain wet big like blankets? If d see do try running fit on the large load setting. It will spin the water out longer.
Also change the load size to match how much clothes you are putting in and it will use less water through the load cycle.
Transmission could be going out.

Boooooom! That fixed it! Thanks so much for this post. Saved me tons of cash. I appreciate it ❤️
Glad I could help. Thank you for your support
ours will start a new load and wash it then drain.....then it stops at wash and flashes while making a click noise every few seconds and will not move on. At first sometimes it would go through all the way fine and then at times we could cancel and start again from just "rinse and drain" and it would go on through but not anymore. It will not calibrate but I am getting the same diagnostic code as you are here. So would that still be the shift sensor in your opinion?
Yes it is more than likely the shift sensor. It’s just a plastic lever.
Thank you for responding. I just saw this come through. Yes it’s inside the machine outside the drum.
Do you have a link on how to fix the shifter? This is exactly what mine did in diagnostic mode. It drains but doesn’t spin. Thanks!
Yes here is a link for the transmission and one for the shifter switch

My waaher sticks on final spin znd not gonnv to cycle complete icon with the lid remaining lock. Is the lid lock the problem or the sensor or both?
Thank you for your video. I did all of this, ordered a new shift actuator, installed it, and still nothing works. Tried to call Whirlpool --they are no help. They want to just schedule a repair appointment. Tried their website--want to charge you to talk to a technician there, too! Whirlpool has an awful product and awful customer service.
Yea whirlpool is of no help. What are the symptoms of the unit?
This worked BUT Im.not sure if that's the issue my direct issue is I can not get my lid unlocked my poor blankets probably have mildew now 😞
You might have to unplug it for 5 min and then plug it back in and it should reset in about 5 min. Also make sure you put the blankets on the large load setting.
@@OFFAxisBuilds that didn't work either
They and hold the start button down for 10 seconds and then give it 5 min.
10 -20 seconds
Where can I get the parts you are replacing because my washer needs the same thing. Can you post link thank you
Should be in the discerption.

Awesome to hear. Thanks for checking out my video.
Thank you.
did urs fill up. and drain the light cut off makes a noise i have to pause to stop the noise
Justin Gibson what type of noise did it make? Was it a grinding or a beep

Thanks for the video! Any recommendations on what to do if it’s plugged in, won’t turn on, and the diagnostic mode doesn’t work?
Do any lights at all come on?
You may have to try several times to get it in diagnostics
Or you may have a bad circuit board
Or there is something disconnected on the board or motor
Let us know what you find
Thank you for the video. I went through the steps and got the ‘sensing’ signal just like in your video doing replaced the sensor just like the videos. My washer still isn’t working. Thoughts?
Thanks for the upload! I got the following 3 errors, should I call a tech to fix or go buy new?
F7E5 = Shifter Fault
F7E6 = Motor Fault
F8E1 = No Fill/ Long Fill
Great video and thank you and it worked but I NEED THE second video
I have the same washer and it got stuck in wash mode. While being stuck on wash, it makes a noise and doesn’t drain. We tried doing diagnostics but it is stuck on wash..Do you know what could be wrong?
Mine is stuck in wash mode also has been for a couple hours now🤬🤦🏼♀️
@@Alexisthornton.226 so did you get the machine to drain?
So my washer would start to fill, get about half way through the filling cycle, then the washer shuts off (no lights on) and automatically drains. I ran the diagnostic test and replaced the actuator and still does the same thing.. any other suggestions?
Dave Herrera it could be your lid latch
Dave Herrera does your motor spin? It could also be you let slipped off.
What did yo do with this one?? I'm washing in the quick wash and I'll return it the next week!!! It's a piece of crap
Definitely get your money back. I wish I could have. But it was 1 month out of warranty.
@@OFFAxisBuilds No way!!! I'm 3 months!!! 😱😣 I can't keep this piece of *@&$^$
I don’t blame you. Since I replaced those parts and the transmission I haven’t had any issues besides a broken belt.
Just had this washer delivered to my house, and it's a piece of crap, within 45 minutes of having it I was on the phone with Lowes requesting the come and get this crap, ol school washing machines are the best, I'm buying a used washer soon
Good get rid of that thing.
How did you fix the sensor issue
It could also be your lid latch is bad, or your water valve is stuck closed. There are a few things that could cause it not to fill.
Anyway to fix?
What’s going on with your machine?
@@OFFAxisBuilds so i replaced the shift sensor thing recently. Washer seems to be on sensing and i hear a pulse sound and it keeps trickling water. Wont switch over to wash cycle. The water sounds like it fills normally
At this point just buy a new one
Hello my washer will not drain the water in it I unplug it n plug it back in it makes a sound n still water in it
My washer is having this exact problem. After pressing start while done is selected and all are blinking, I clicked it counterclockwise as you did in the video. It was blinking sensing. I tried diagnostic mode again but turned it clockwise and different things lit up. I am confused on what my issue is now 🥴
I wish the washer was as helpful as this video. I know i'm not the only one that says this about this washer.

When I get to the all lights flashing part, my Locked light does not flash at all. What should I do?
Is this a new unit? If so there is a plug on the water inlet.
Thanyou. I looked everywhere to find out how to run a diagnostics on my whirlpool WTW5000DW2 I did exactly what u showed here n yea sure enough its a sensing issue.
Raven Dubrinsky I’m glade I could help. Thanks for checking out my video.
Raven Dubrinsky you could try putting less water in, and also putting the dial to heavy load.
@@OFFAxisBuilds ill have to give that a try today n see if it helps. I'll let you know.
Well a link to your next video will help you have a bunch of videos. Maybe I’ll buy you a coffe😅
So I followed your exact moves and mine gives me a flashing sensor light as well.
Try unpluggingit for 30 seconds
Then plug it back in
Then press the start button 20 times before it fully turns on. It should reset your machine
Sorry 10 times not 20
What should I do when is stuck on spin ?
Can you help my my whirlpool front loader is stuck in soaking with water it’s stuck. I need it to drain and spin. Help me please
I would try and in plug it for about 5 min and then plug it back in. Then press the start button 10 times right after you plug it in. . That should reset the system.
Please I need your help desperately 😢 mine is an xpert system model 8mwtw1725cg1 and the LEDs are off, it was working, it got stucked while rinsing or at least it was trying to do so, my aunt did something and now I just can't make it work again, I tried all the resets, nothing has worked :( what else can I do?
just bought one of these used, thought maybe was shifter was bad,...machine would not spin according to last owner the spinning got slower and slower until she said it wouldnt spin a all... at first when I plugged it in. it went into sensing mode then lid lock light would come on . you could hear clicking then nothing...,....took shifter out tested good put back in , now the dang machine won't light up, acts like it is dead.... ready to pull my hair out
It might be a bad motor
I have the same sensing light flashing.. I replaced the sensor and nothing changed. any idea ?
Try to rebuke the computer.
Unplug the machine for 30 sec
Then plug it back in and press the start button 10 times right after you plug it back in.
@@OFFAxisBuilds I did as you suggested. Still hasn’t fix the problem. At this point, and ready to run over this washer
Can you hear water going into the machine?
@@OFFAxisBuilds thank you for your fast replies. After watching several videos and reading several comments, I learned that my hot water valve was shut off. 🤦🏼♂️ my wash temp was set to high. I feel stupid, but glad it works now.
I’m glad you got it working
This video helped me tremendously!! Thank you so much brother🙏🏾
My washer makes 3 loud grinding noises when trying to go into high spin. Then it reverts to a slower spin causing the cloths to remain soaked. I’m thinking it’s a gear issue
brandon wilcox it sounds like your gear box. I just replaced mine it cost about $250 to $350.
I would try this part first being that it’s only $40 Whirlpool W10913953 www.amazon.com/dp/B01N38MC0R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
If that doesn’t fix it then it’s probably your transmission. $250 Whirlpool W11035751 Transmission www.amazon.com/dp/B077B9ZW85?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
@@OFFAxisBuilds It's a short, ugly grind, and then it either stalls on 'Spin' mode or shuts over to 'Done.' Thanks!
That sounds like your shifter switch
Oddly enough, I have the same model & the trouble-shooting didn't work for me! I had to get my husband to take a look at it & I was trying to do this on my own.
He figured it out without looking at the instructions... slightly irritating. This is the biggest pain in the butt washer I've ever had! So much for going with a low-tech washer...
I felt the same way when I had to do my repairs. What was the final problem with your machine?
I think he said the locking mechanism on the lid was backwards.
Thanks for this video. Ive had issues with my washer filling 25% on deep wash mode, hope this helps me out
Did you figure it out?
Mine is doing the same only filling up a quarter. Did u fix yours and was it the position sensor switch?
Check the air hose going from the tub to the panel. Might be obstructed. Or the pressure sensor failed.
If it is my shift sensor where is that located and is there a video to show me how?
I need to put that video up. That sensor is located under the machine towards the back.

Is the blinking that determines it that part is the problem?
It depends. IR you in the diagnostic mode. If you are then you need to get your maintenance book out and flip to the page that tells you hat the blinks stand for. The book usually is under the life between the drum and front sheet metal.
My whirlpool washer i change the spring and still spinning wildly and i reset it too can u help me please
Great video. I replaced sensor still doesn’t work. Can you help?
Thanks for watching my video. What are some of the machines symptoms?
Exact same problems as diagnosed. Seriously a great video with out a manual. It won’t spin to wring out laundry. Stops there and starts rinse cycle again
Chris Tierno do you here grinding when it try’s to shift gears?
Unusual noise for sure. Like it’s trying to spin but doesn’t. Spouse says most definitely
If you hear a loud noise when it is trying to shift then it might be your transmission. That part is about $300. I noticed I replaced three shifter switches and then I had to replace my transmission.
Every light came on and weren’t flashing when I tried self diagnosing. What does that mean?
I have this same washer. I started a load and left when I came back the clothes were not clean and sopping wet. I started it again on drain and spin. Now no lights will come on. I waited 24 hours and finally got a light so I started the washer and it got stuck on locked lid. Unplugged it and now no lights are working again. I tried the left right motions but still no lights are coming on. No weird noises either. ?? Any ideas
That’s a tough one. It kinda sounds like it could be a bad board.
I did this and am testing the drain and spin mode, it drains but it will not spin, so what now?
Check your belt. It might of broke or striped off.
Hi my Whirlpool wtw5000dw3 keeps tripping my gfci and everytime I turn it back on its on rinse. I've washed several smaller loads between when this started and now and it goes thru the cycle fine. Any idea what I should look for? I'm subscribing to your channel
You might have a bad motor. Sometimes when motors are bad they run hotter and it could be tripping your gfi.
You might have a bad motor. These washers are cheap. I had to replace so much just out of the year warranty.
@@OFFAxisBuilds lol yea I agree. I hate it tbh
