Remember when pcx felt like sonic.exe... With that fire chase sequence from the game... The most fun I had with the character at that time. They could've only sped it up and added abilites or anything inside the domain to not only rely on stamina to escape. I miss seeing that fire zone man.
00:00 - Release (technically the first rework) 07:00 - 1st Rework 11:49 - Pre-3rd Rework 15:49 - 3rd Rework 19:16 - Pre-5th Rework 23:32 - 5th Rework 28:48 - Pre-6th Rework 31:53 - 6th Rework It's funny that many people didn't get a chance to try it out on launch day when you were doing TP and got a black screen. That's why it was replaced by Found You. Found You is technically the first PCX rework. And in my opinion, PCX Day 2 was the best of all their reworks. Sometimes more is less.
That could've been easily fixed by tweaks and adding stuff to counter pcx inside the domain, keeping the core exe feeling and uniqueness while making it balanced. Instead of just removing it entirely. @@typervader
@@typervader Final Act is very occasional, it's not a pure bullshit where you have to use it all the time. Even though the third one is better with Final Act, the problem is that facing it makes it unfair. It's better to have a person with skill than a fool with power. It's called balance bro, something that this game lacks by a lot. The first Final Act had the problem that when you go to that place it takes you like 15 seconds or more to kill the one you sent, and if you don't kill him, you're wasting time. That's why it's quite occasional and you should use that ability wisely. Because while you're in Final Act, the survivors are finishing tasks. Think not about a single survivor, think in general. A good way to balance the character's speed with his low stamina. The jump, final act and found you could have been balanced instead of completely reworked. Now because of that "it's boring" thing they screw up and have what you see in the game today.
@@typervader That's why it's occasional and not a skill you have to use all the time. Because using it allows you to kill someone as well as screw them. gonna be honest, didn't even know about the Soul Split rework till I saw it on the wiki, also if I could pick one Rework to bring back, I'm bringing back 15:50
I miss the release pcx.. I miss when he felt unique as Sonic.exe of pillar chase. I miss the old final act and the old passive… I would not mind if they nerfed his release state cuz then he would at least still fill like sonic.exe If they nerfed found you to have a timer, but had his jump do damage on the release I think those would’ve been good damage. Had him do 18 damage but last attack speed. Now he just doesn’t feel like the hyped up character I waited 6-8 months to play as..
Man you said everything in my heart. Release pcx right there is THE real Sonic.exe. Today's changes for Found and and jump dmg and speeding up final act would've been perfect. Now the charm is just gone.
@ If we analyze it, the found you, final act and the damage with the jump in addition to charging stamina, would have been perfect for the PCX at the beginning. Literally, he only had to make a few changes in the beginning skills and he would have been one of the most fun characters today. A real shame.
@ FR, It's very sad thinking we could've got this but now we probably will never, and blade will just stick to this new rework changing it and tweaking it's stats from time to time.
Tbh, they had smth unique with the Soul idea for his ability. It makes sense too. They probably could've leaned into that aspect more Also, maybe adding a wind up for his speed before he tops. Which they had in Testing, but it wasn't done properly. If they wanted to make the wind up fair to reach top speed, they would need to make PCX have increased stamina for that to work & maybe a way to gain stamina back When speed wind up for PCX was in Testing, it was impossible to reach top max speed, due to his small amount of stamina & the way he couldn't gain it back.
to address my frustrations with the update, I have written a 1000 word letter to blade talking about pcx's current issues (and how to fix them) as well as blade's mismanagement of the community reception of pcx's various changes. I think it would be something they should definitely see for the health of the game, however I have no means to share it with anyone meaningful.
This video proves that PCX was OP until YCR balance changes, idk how people have the balls to say that he was absolutely trash the release to the god's unbound PCX
Not bad job on the team, blame the PCX fans who voted for PCX release first over jeff the killer, if they choose Jeff blade and his team would have more time to test him good, and the PCX mains still have the dare to say that he wasn't that OP, like we played the same PC2???
can you PLEASE stop using ai fps upscalers, this video is *so* rancid and hard to look at, and EACH of your videos is like that. how can anybody keep watching this
Ngl the pcx 3rd rework is the strongest pcx ever

Oh Yea because final act was fair. If you had less than 50 stamina you got hit. If you had more than 50 you just lost every time.
Super fun

Hey, I'm working on a PCX video about his balance changes, community reputation, etc. You mind if I use your gameplay footage? I'll credit you.
Fine by me. All yours.

I miss when he said " I am GOD" and he actually meant it instead of " I AM CRIPPLED" as he is about to crash into a wall for the 4th time.
i dont play pillar chase a lot so basically pcx becomes a new character everytime i join
I love pcx 3rd rework and 1st Rework tbh.

Sonic. Exe ? More like Tickle.exe
Best one was god unbound
Every 3 hours expect another random rework with a brand new mid ability

The 6th rework for pcx completely killed pcx

I really love the last pcx rework, feels balanced and skill, is fun use you can't run
In my opinion, his 5th rework was balanced enough. Now PCX is just another normal monster. I want PCX to be reverted so I can start playing him again.
this proves PCX was not tested enough and was released too early. Bad job on the team
