Wonderful old classic! Maybe back to the 30’s?? I haven’t heard this in a while… I remember a Stan Getz cover of this… kind of a ballad. I like your cover here. I love Stan Getz so much. He was (and still is) the first I listen to, when I learn a new song. I'm not much a fan of changing the head to a weird solo and Stan is the complete opposite, he plays so clear and precise, you immediately understand the song.

This is a fantastic lesson. I love your voicings, and I find that just playing arpeggios on your shapes with a few passing tones sounds great. Also fun as a Bossa Nova! Is that a D'Angelico making that massive tone?

Well, its usually just a couple of I VI II V or substitutions thereof and II V I.

Sure, why not. But it's helpful to have an acoustic guitar with a cutaway, to have access to the higer frets.
