This era of pop music was heavily centered around the paparazzi and how crazy it was driving these girls. Revisited all the issues Britney had with the paparazzi back in the day and her resulting breakdown, and Paris Hilton’s documentary made me want to come back to this video. It was really crazy back then. It seems like pop stars and celebrities these days have a little more distance between them and the cameras most of the time. Hope they realize how good they have it. Almost all of the girls I grew up idolizing are living very strange sad lives these days.
I feel like social media has let people into celebrities personal lives so much now that paparazzi is going to be a thing of the past because it’s not needed to see more of them.

I don’t know if people started to realize how bad the situation got or if the rise of social media and Instagram made paparazzi irrelevant but Britney and Lindsay were chased like no one else. While Paris Hilton enjoyed all those paparazzi Lindsay and especially Britney really suffered. Lindsay was 17/ 18 at her prime. She was significant younger than Paris and Britney. I know this is a little random but I saw this local rocker guy, who's also known as a sex offender, his own mom owning some crazy sh. I remember her telling me stuff like get over yourself...
