When the prosecutor made a visual comparison of two sets of bullets on screen (at about the 16.5 min. mark of this video)... and asked "can you Clearly see the difference", before answering her own question with a remark of "Absolutely".... That seemed like a stretch as the bullets (from at least the angle presently being shown) didn't appear to CLEARLY be different... such as the instance of being able to tell the difference in as little as a split second glance anyways. And that said, then you obviously couldn't secondly conclusively refer to the visual discrepancies as ABSOLUTELY contrasting either. And as far as the first time around visual comparison made (presented earlier and beforehand) between authentic and dummy rounds made prior to which... you seemingly could at least say appeared to be a somewhat similarly comparable visual... with one set of bullets being goldish with a lighter metallic tip, while the other set was yellowish-gold with a darker metallic tip it seemed. Hannah avoided the worst in an unsuccessful attempt in distinguishing, despite there also being something of an obvious notable visual difference between the two. Perhaps... there wasn't much color contrast categorically speaking, but more so with the shades if I saw that correct. And lastly, it at least didn't look as if the defendant had pointed the long-barreled gun right directly that is... at her own face either.
Not guilty
Obviously guilty
You can point the finger all day long at Baldwin, however, the armorers are responsible for the rounds that leave the weapon.
Soo glad that the beloved child that was on that set wasn’t hit by the weapons being flung around irresponsibly by the “adults”
Prosecutor is so powerful and professional.
The fact the 5 Dummy rounds were in miss gutierez pocket says it all.
Sarah Zachary threw out the rounds in Alec’s gun.
Nope if you were paying attention, she threw out rounds from two other actor's guns, not Baldwins
@@LH74 listening isn't your strong suit, huh
So it must have been cold empty when she handed it off to Dave, right? Why would she load 5 maybes when she's got 5 knowns in her pocket?? Wouldn't make any sense. Check the clips of the draw. Chambers are empty.
THAT was a powerful closing argument
The prosecution and defense closing arguments were scattered...not good
I agree!I thought she tied it all together really well. She showed that the live rounds were already in the mix before the dummies were even delivered. For me, that cleared everything up. Proving that she did nothing to promote g^n safety on set seemed pretty well established already. I think they did a great job proving that this girl’s actions led to a death.
The cocaine handoff was the cherry on top for the prosecution. The most mature, expert, sober professional on set is suppose to be the armorer and she was doing coke...and dating the hotel guy when she's married...that takes the cake. She didn't know the difference between cocaine powder and gun powder.
Yeah I was thinking she would get off until the coke thing came to light.
All Hanna had to do was flush the coke down the toilet and dispose of the two plastic baggies and no one would have ever known a thing. Duh....
Yup, she's to cheap and didn't want to waste it. Then kept texting for it back. She deserves prison just for that. @@davidbacheler1399
@@davidbacheler1399She wanted it back. The woman was just supposed to hold it for her.
I didn’t know she was married. Was her husband the guy in that red shirt on screen all the time?
She's getting a little over a year... don't even see the justice in that. Hardly a slap on the wrist jeez...
She won't even get that amount. She'll get probation.
She will probably get a few months of jail and then probation. The good part is she will never work on a movie again. Daddy will have to support her.
That’s New Mexico. Soft on crime. Pitiful.
Gutierrez wanted that job and FAILED by ignoring safety responsibilities AND doing drugs ON THE JOB! Her attitude shown throughout the trial speaks volumes as to her not caring. She had a responsibility and SHE FAILED. It was HER JOB to ensure no live rounds and to load dummy rounds. Her aloof behavior and obvious lack of compassion even during photos of injuries were reflective of how little she cared about the seriousness of her job and how it impacts others.
She did care about Halyna’s death. She was advised by her lawyers to not show emotion. But she was visibly upset at the autopsy photos.
If Hannah wasn’t doing her job, the the director, AD, or whoever supervised her should have fired her early on. And Alec was completely rogue, and the narcissist he was, I’m sure he wasn’t approachable even if Hannah wanted to critique him, correct him, or address him in any way.
Baldwin bears the lion’s share of responsibility here. He was the one holding and aiming the gun, and it was his finger that pulled the trigger. No excuse for this sort of unsafe gun handling.
This prosecutor changed my mind with her closing statement. I was convinced the state had not proven their case until now. The prosecutor has tied everything up nicely and proven to me this armorer is guilty! Great job state!
Yes, she did an extremely thorough job, and was succinct and clear, logical and direct.
I'm hoping she's trying Baldwin, too.
If she is, he should be very scared, and prepare himself.
The way she runs through evidence, stays on task, questions witnesses, and methodically lays out the pertinent facts is impressive.
She lied through her teeth and lead all of you to injustice. How foolish you are.
I found out today that the only reason Halyna was there was because of the walk off of camera crew the day before,
She wasn’t supposed to be in the position she was.
That is very sad.
The camera crew probably only quit because of safety concerns.
completely incorrect.
Actually, she was there because this was going to be a highlight scene. They wanted to shoot it especially fine. She was the camera director, after all. They had like 3 days of shooting to wrap things up.
This girl has a great poker face.
She wasn’t going to give the media anything. Stoicism was all the power she had left.
@Starcrunch913 Stoicism or simply over confident?
@@vitalucas9452 hubris, pride....
@@vitalucas9452 Oh, I don’t think she expected to win the case. This girl had already squared with the fact that she was going to lose. She just thought it was all a bunch of bs.
@@Starcrunch913 She certainly did from the start, as she didn't appear to understand her responsibilities under her work title.
You can keep pointing the finger elsewhere, but ultimately she was responsible for the weapons on set. Further, there are also other that should be charged as well, the girl that threw away ammunition should be charged with tampering with evidence, and Baldwin needs some culpability.
The props master won't be charged because she is a prosecution witness who agreed to testify only because she wasn't going to be prosecuted. Sure they could have gone after her too but then they would not have had her valuable testimony at all which would have made the case against HG much less solid. The AG takes what that can and goes for the case that makes the most sense to them.
💯
The lady that threw away the ammunition was charged. She was smart and took a plea deal.
Too many people acting childish with a firearm. And why a real firearm instead of a fake prop?
Clearly a Case Of Public Opinion that Alec Baldwin, a Famous Actor, Can Do No Wrong. Sickening.
This failure seems so basic that it is inexcusable. How much training do you need to spot live rounds and make sure they are nowhere near a gun on the set. Seems as basic as not driving through a stop sign.
Clearly a Case Of Public Opinion that Alec Baldwin, a Famous Actor, Can Do No Wrong. Sickening.
Guilty 😔
No seeing the live rounds on the belt with dummy rounds is scary.
Dummie Rounds can also have silver butts. You fell for her lies.
@ChrisisComics Well, well. Bullet Bimbo has a fan.
@@vitalucas9452 Given the fact how everyone who wants to see her rot handles themselves, I wouldnt consider myself a fan, but more so it a necessity to stand on the facts. And the facts say, there is reasonable doubt. Cry about it.
@@ChrisisComics Let's watch her appeal together shall we?
Very intelligent prosecutor lady ,yes.
Sounds to me like negligence on the part of a great deal of people, pointing guns here, there and everywhere, which no one was preventing, and if she was failing in her performance on numerous occasions those overseeing production failed on numerous occasions to put a stop to her negligence!
So she's incompetent, well so are those who allowed that incompetence to continue, they also could foresee the possibility of a tragedy!
You cannot hold her accountable without holding the rest accountable! She may ultimately be responsible, but making her solely responsible is not justice!
And Alec Baldwin stating his finger wasn't on the trigger, well that denial SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!
The responsibility still lands on the armorers….doesn’t matter who pulled the trigger
@@RABPWarrior I agree I think they should have done better job of investigating Seth Kenny as possible suspect mixing live rounds in with the dummy rounds knowing Hannah incomitance would lead to this. Little bit of what I got from interviews it seemed that Seth and Thall Reed go back years working together possible he wasn't happy with Hannah taking over the business from her father he might have wanted that business. Not saying it's true it's plausible.
@@RABPWarrior The responsibility reaches all the way to the top; the negligence shared, and one thing throws suspicion on Baldwin, his denial that his finger was on the trigger, which photos show it clearly was!
Clearly a Case Of Public Opinion that Alec Baldwin, a Famous Actor, Can Do No Wrong. Sickening.
“Their has to be consequences for their actions “ This woman lost her life , her husband and son need accountability. Not much to ask for 💔💔💔💔💔💔
Hana was incompetent, a bad hire of a young , inexperienced , 20 something by a producer trying to save a buck on production costs. I blame the experienced crew members & producers for not intervening. Those who spoke up were ignored to a point where they quit, just walked off the job that very morning. Is she guilty , imo yes, because in her job, there is no room for incompetence.
@@amuseherSarah supplied the rounds. Why didn't she check them?
People shouldn't do coke while monitoring guns and bullets on a film set. Simple.
Hey now
🤦🏾
The coke is made up. It has never been proven nor tested.
This being the second time I've heard the accusation of Hannah being under the influence while on set... could you please tell me what indicates that or at least potentially anyways? Drug use on the job that is?
@@RyanJansen-mf7wuCommon sense.
Their should be multiple armor's on a movie set containing multiple weapons. Put that responsibility on 1 person is crazy. Craziness. Even though she agreed she could do it. The safety director..... Should've seen it. That she couldn't handle it by herself.
I believe she shouldn't have guilty of manslaughter. But guilty of negulguince.
18 months? = Traffic School for killing someone.
* Raise your kids not to turn out like Hannah
Except that she didn’t kill anyone: Baldwin did. She screwed up, but he was the one who pulled the trigger while improperly pointing it at another person. His fault.
@@KevinThomas-ok2ev - His fault alone? She has no culpability? Why does the industry have armorers? Why not just simply have prop masters handle that? She carelessly ignored well established safety protocols. It was her job to carefully follow these safety protocols. Her failure to do her job tragically contributed to someone's death. If she had done her job, even though Baldwin may be a complete idiot, a death would have been avoided. As the prosecutor said, Baldwin will see his day in court for his part. Have fun with your low IQ life.
The prosecutor put on a very air-tight case about Hannah Gutirrez's recklessness on the set and her mixing of the live rounds with the dummies. Ergo, conviction. The problem is, that the prosecution narrowed the case's mens rea & actus reus fact pattern, specifically that Baldwin would have to have known enough at the time to tell the difference between the shell casing primers and their distinct color markings to have prevented the accident. In other words, I'm not sure that the prosecutor can convince a jury that EVEN IF Baldwin were to have checked the rounds in the cylinder of each PRIMER through the gate before firing the weapon, would Baldwin have known the difference, e.g. brass vs. silver primers? In the alternative, would the jury require him to take out each and every individual round in the gun and shake it to determine if it was live or dummied? Of course, Negligent Use of a Firearm '(3) endangering the safety of another by handling or using a firearm or other deadly weapon in a negligent manner' will be a lesser included charge, but my recommendation is just to save the circus, give him this same plea as David Halls and just agree to that and order massive restitution to the family. The one most clearly responsible is already behind bars. And we aren't even going to talk about Alec Baldwin's ever-changing story about who handed him the gun on set - Shameful.
It was much more than just Hannah not being good at her job. Many people failed on many levels. Too bad it seems the authorities were only interested in going after her.
Exactly! The prosecutor wanted the one that would give headlines and boost her career.
Are you dumb or stupid? Many more people wre charged. Quit spreading lies!
Yeah, I mean the argument from prosecutor that the armorer has fully autonomy is such ludicrous. She may be in charge of the guns but that doesn't give her the right to have unsafe practices. The same people who hired her could have fired her once she didn't want to make an effort to reevaluate her safety procedures. Her "oversight" simply wanted someone they could control and direct which is evident by Dave Hall actions on that day. Nonetheless, she still has much to answer for especially considering how long the live rounds had gone undetected. I found the OSHA report to be much more truthful, I think once some members of the production team found out about the talk of charges being presented is when people start pointing fingers to hide their actions that day.
I know the defense hasn't given their closing yet, but I'd bet a months pay little Hannahs goose is cooked.
The prosecutor is phenomenal.
You think so? There should be an OFF switch there somewhere. "Just a couple really short things" means get another cup of coffee with a thermos. Another half hour to go. And instructing the jury? I thought that the judge was supposed to do that...😢
Kate McKinnon as prosecutor 😂
For me, the set had an Armorer. One. All the rest is fluff. The two jobs the armorer had. The assistant that was incompetent. The DA. Whatever. She is young and inexperienced but SHE TOOK THE JOB. I dont want to see her life ruined but.... she was the armorer.
She herself stated her part in the guilt of this situation.
Maximum sentence is 18 months in prison. It seems a small price to pay for unconscionable acts.

Whoever was in charge of hiring should have clear culpability. The woman (Sarah?) threw away the bullets for a reason - but the examination of her on the stand was tiptoed around though by the prosecution. Why was this skimmed over?? As for the armorer - Hannah G is an immature twit and should not be in a position of maintaining safety of anything. She was obviously in way over her head and responded by being an obnoxious, sulking elderly toddler and this ultimately cost someone their life.
Yes the Sarah testimony that she had been taught to throw away dummy rounds was either BS or she lacks understanding of dummy rounds vs. blanks that had been fired.
She failed in keeping live rounds from finding their way onto the set, she’s guilty of that. As to others throwing away potential evidence, that a separate and unrelated crime that they should answer for. But when it comes to causing a death, that goes straight to Baldwin. He was the one who accepted a gun from the AD who wasn’t qualified to hand it to him, and took his word that it was “cold” without bothering to check. He ignored basic firearms safety, and pointed a live firearm at another person, and pulled the trigger. He bears the greatest liability here.
@@KevinThomas-ok2evno Hannah bears the weight of the responsibility..Alec will habe his day, though.
Sarah also hired her.

I really think that Hannah was playing a game & didn’t care, what might be the consequences.
If Hanna were to walk off set when she thought she couldn't control the firearms, this wouldn't have happened. She was not authorized enough control over the set.
She did have a contract to fill. Plus, there's a certain loyalty involved. Her walking wouldn't mean it wouldn't happen. They'd just put on someone that wasn't capable. Sarah was next in line. Ackles probably thought he'd be a pretty good armorer, Supernatural and all. Probably a dozen folks wanted her to do just that...
Why would Sarah overwork her on general props if she wasn't allowed proper control/time on armorer duties? What was Nicole there for???

In the midst of that sun-baked thoroughfare, with my Colt 45 clenched tight, I fancied myself a renegade of the old West. Unleashing a barrage of shots into the arid air, I reveled in my outlaw fantasy. But as the smoke cleared, the grim truth struck me like a thunderbolt: my pistol was loaded not with blanks, but with the lethal sting of real bullets.
Kudos to states closing
If the child actor shot the gun playfully and a live round killed another actor, would he be called a murderer?
Yes
Good point. If someone told him "Go get Hannah and tell her to load this thing with dummies bc we're ready to roll" and he couldn't find her so he loaded them himself, would he be guilty?
She was the NUMBER ONE person responsible for firearms safety. She was the NUMBER ONE person who failed. And that's Gen-Z for you; in general. No sense of personal responsibility or integrity; honor; duty etc.
Come on they’re not all like that.
Except that she wasn’t the one pointing the gun. The most basic adherence to proper firearms safety would have prevented all of this.
There is no ranking for responsibility. Everybody in the chain is responsible, and any one of them could have prevented it.

Thus, one must tread carefully in the dance of objections, reserving them for instances where opposing counsel stumbles into a colossal blunder that threatens the integrity of your client's case.
put an older veteran in charge of the firearms never a young person NEVER no live ammo on the premises at all.
Seems like a set up on Hanna. Sara is suspect. She hated Hanna.
Embellished and melodramatic. Just monotonous enough to hypnotize the jury.
The gypsy palm reader didn't help Hannah.
I find it ironic that a ton of people quit because of HER and THEN someone dies…there is a lot of evidence toward negligence, however, you have to admit the timing is suspect. The one person who gets shot is the last person remaining on set who had already quit.
Hannah must think ones career life or even getting any job is so darn easy. Just rely on your 81 year old daddy. Well no.more nepotism for hannah. Time to find her own skillset and nothing in the armament industry.
When the prosecutor claims that camera crew members choosing to leave the set... could have "very well" saved their lives.... I'd like to say that the addition of the word "very" might even run parallel to the word "vast" (or close to it)... and in which case, would indicate the impression that chances are even quite highly likely that these absent camera crew members had their lives spared. And although I'm not sure of what the outlook was of the unfortunate scene... I'd like to speculate that Alec wasn't accross from the camera crew members (or maybe even anyone) in a hallway-like setting... where other crew members would've been stuck in limited space, almost directly accross from Alec. In such the instance of a more open, free-roaming environment by contrast... it would seem to be a better choice of words on the prosecutor's part to say such as "it considerably could've maybe even saved their lives."
Silver primers don't mean a thing.
The camera angle across the prosections lawyer with hannah in the background is jarring.
Why were there any live rounds on the set at all? I haven’t watched the whole trial. Legit question. I don’t get it
It was her job to check the bullets. There should have never been live ammo on the set. Maybe the industry should stop letting people from other productions bring in dummy ammo just to save a buck. Every production should get their ammo from legit sources not someone's leftovers. They were Hannah's/Thell Reed's leftovers. Still the end point is SHE DID NOT CHECK.
No Kari. It wasn't Russian Roulette. It was Baldwin Roulette :
ALWAYS Keep The Gun Pointed In A Safe Direction
This is the primary rule of gun safety. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances.
ALWAYS Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Ready To Shoot
When holding a gun, rest your finger alongside the frame and outside the trigger guard. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger.
ALWAYS Keep The Gun Unloaded Until Ready To Use
If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does.
Nothing can ever replace safe gun handling.
-NRA-
All guns are always loaded.
Keep your gun pointed in a safe direction.
Keep your finger off of the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
Be certain of your target.
-Jeff Cooper's Rules-
Treat all weapons as though they are loaded and/or ready to use. Do not play with weapons and NEVER point one at anyone, including yourself.
-SAGAFTRA-
Before any firearm is used in a rehearsal, an on-camera sequence, or off-camera, the Production will conduct a safety meeting with all involved personnel to acquaint cast and crew members with relevant safety issues. This safety meeting shall include an “on-site walk-through” and/or “dry run” with the Property Master, designated Production representative, and anyone who will be using and/or handling a firearm.
It is important that everyone treat all firearms, whether they are real, rubber, or replica firearms as if they are working, loaded firearms.
-Movie Industry Rules-
As everyone knows a revolver works one way you pull the trigger and the gun fires It doesn’t go off by itself unless the trigger is pulled the gun does not fire. It’s not automatic it’s not even semi automatic a brand new gun still works that way today in order for it too fire someone has to pull the trigger.

In the blistering heat of the accusations, OSHA pointed its accusatory finger squarely at management, branding them as the culprits responsible for the calamity. Two seasoned veterans, weathered by the harsh realities of the film set, nodded knowingly, recognizing this as yet another chapter in the relentless saga of industrial accidents. For in the tumultuous world of the movie business, where creativity collides with machinery, every scene is a battleground, every production a war zone.

What's even more frustrating for me, is that she had a fatter who continues to be regarded as one of the very best in the armourer business with over 40 years of experience under his belt, having won a plethora of accolades for his expertise and more importantly, his impeccable safety record on the set of some of the most complex firearms and explosives scenes in numerous blockbuster Hollyweird movies including Predator (Arnold Swarzenegger) Godfather II, Scarface (Al Pacino) Wild Wild West (Will Smith) Leaving New York being just a handful of credits to her fathers name, all of which are renowned for their intensive and prolonged firearm scenes.
And I believe she was actually living with her father at the time, so it troubles me to no end wondering, particularly with having immediate access to a father with extensive expertise at his disposal, was it her over inflated ego in not being able to admit she needs help , or was she just too lazy or G_D forbid, did she just care so little about the safety of those she's tasked with protecting, that it prevented her from even approaching her father for some clearly much needed guidance?!? I just need to know.
And /or if it were me, I'd have begged him to accompany me on set to help me get a grip of what was clearly a situation that was dangerously spiralling out of control.... Or did she not even sense the danger she was invoking by cutting so many corners as she clearly was due to the immense amount of pressure Baldwin and others were placing on her?. Added to that is my disbelief at why on earth did not a single individual, ALL of whom had far more experience than HG being not only the youngest on set barring child actors, but with the least amount of experience with just one prior movie under her belt, so why didn't anyone pull her aside with her repeated firearm safety violations too numerous to count, and have a quiet word with her to get it together? This was a string of repeated failures that all came together in a perfect storm and created a tsunami of events that would have been most surprising to NOT HAVE ENDED the way it did. Rip HH, I hope your death was not in vain and lessons that should have been learned following the accidental death of the son of Bruce Lee who was also shot and killed by a DUMMY ROUND.

Ya. I think we found the guilty party. She even looks the part of a saboteur on the stand with shifty eyes and a rather bitter persona. She throws bullets in the trash something she has never done before.
WHY would she do that other than to get rid of evidence of a crime she committed.
You have to look at a couple primary things. Who had access to the guns and rounds, and was there any motive.
Putting aside the events that led up to an accident, lets look at other reasons for this to happen.
Was their jealousy, resentment, someone seeking attention, someone with a score to settle, someone trying to make a point, someone trying to get somebody fired, someone trying to create drama between people on set. BUT IT ALL COMES BACK TO, WHO HAD ACCESS TO THE GUNS AND ROUNDS PRIOR TO WHEN THE GUN WAS SHOT.
THERE'S NO QUESTION THE ARMORER WAS NEGLIGENT ON SET BUT I'M NOT GETTING THAT SHE WAS BEING NEGLIGENT ON PURPOSE.
SO, Could it be that someone knew she had smoked some weed the night before and knew she did coke thought they could set her up for a career destroying event not meaning to physically harm anyone, OR perhaps they did mean to harm someone. I'm going off my gut feeling, and the person that's got all this piled on HER shoulders dosen't seem to be the one behind how this happened, but it did happen, so who else is there.
THOSE ARE THE KEY QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE PART OF THIS INVESTIGATION LEAVING THE ACCIDENT ASIDE IN THE MEANTIME. I Have No Dog In This Fight, No Attachment To Anyone Involved. THAT SAID, I have yet to see these other things brought up by investigators or Lawyers including those onset or anyone privy to relations with members of the cast and crews interpersonal relationships that might provide motive. I think these are important questions that need further investigation before someone takes the wrap for it.
Clearly a Case Of Public Opinion that Alec Baldwin, a Famous Actor, Can Do No Wrong. Sickening.
Can you imange if she was in b disposal we would all be screwed also hg is more bothered about her job when someone has been seriously injured at that time and she wants to go to the toilet tell the cop walking you your bothered about losing your job and secretly you want to get rid of your dope rarther then get charged with it
All dummy ammo from all sources was moved in and out of several foam holders.... it is fantasy for the prosecutor to suggest that all rounds went back to the same foam holder at the end of multiple days of work, she can claim that Hannah had live rounds but there is no proof of that. Nice try....... what we do know is there is a reason why 2 people are to check the ammo in the pistol......... redundancy produces accuracy..... David Hall said himself he was negligent in being the second person to check the pistol ammo. That still does not account for the 10 minutes Baldwin had control of the pistol. Hannah said she checked the dummies David Hall said himself he did not check the dummies . It takes two checks for safety like a lot of things. Hall was the break down in the procedure, so the prosecution lets him go.

If the child was shot on the set by accident who’s the “murderer” ?
Baldwin
She was clearly not qualified to hold that job, but these photos show a complete lack of seriousness for safety from everyone involved. I've been out shooting with completely untrained amateurs many times, and never seen such utter disregard for safety. Out of hundreds of people I've only come across one man in 40 years that had zero awareness for muzzle control.
Actors are more likely to be leftists than not. Perhaps this is why they are so anti-gun, because they are projecting their own shortcomings on everyone else. I mean... gun safety isn't hard. Only four easy to remember, and practice rules guarantee no one gets hurt. That's why Baldwin doesn't deserve a pass by blaming the armorer. The armorer clearly deserves a lion's share of the blame, but she's not the only one. Only small children need someone constantly slapping their hand every time to get them to learn gun safety. A normal adult usually only needs a talking to once, and then they get in line.
That was the wrong verdict. She should be free
You should go back playing with your Barbie doll sweetheart
Very sad case for everyone, however she does look very entitled like most 20 to 40 year olds today.
