Let's talk about getting *_ unstuck!!!_* I thought this topic was fitting since I actually get this question quite a bit of how do I overcome creative blocks, BUT we are heading into November which whatever writing challenge you are participating in, most of us are trying to finish a draft and having tools in your corner of how to get unstuck and overcome writer's block is a must 💗 hope you all enjoy!!
Thank you so much for making this video! I have found it so helpful. What I’ve also find helpful when I have writers block is taking notes. And I’m so happy I’ve found pen to pod because it just seems like a perfect note taking podcast. Love the captions too! Makes note taking so much easier for someone with dyslexia, haha 💖
Great topic and tips! I have been so bad about reading while I’m writing and it’s something that I know helps me, but I just slack off. The last few months I have been getting out to the coffee shop once a week and it has helped me so much! I love your tips on giving yourself those writing prompts, I’m definitely going to try that! I’m currently at a point where this month hasn’t gone as planned. I went from being motivated to write, but not being able to because of travel and a toddler to getting back to it for a week and a half and feeling good to now I’ve been so busy doing a big renovation in our RV and I just haven’t had the motivation this past week. Hoping for a better month next month! And I completely understand your fear of it being a disaster, I’m getting so close to the end of my first draft and I’m terrified. But I just keep trying to remind myself that I can figure it out and fix anything that’s needed and it will get better with each draft. Also I need writer friends too because my poor non-reading husband is probably sick of me at this point 😂 I keep looking for writing groups in my area and there aren’t any that I’ve found. We’re relocating soon so maybe the next city! 🤞
