Girl mine has been bad recently too! I’ve found what triggers it for me is sugar & stress. Also, now that I’m more active & my hair is damp more often, it flares at times for me too. The only thing that works and seems to clear it is As I Am’s line that you told me about! I’ve also used Briogeo’s intense scalp revival which helps but not to the extent of As I Am

Girlllll yes. I am so glad you figured out your triggers. Whew. I’m gonna chuck this up to so much swimming. 🤔 we’ve been washing much more than normal. And possibly some dampness on scalp. Uhhhhh. Yeah and I need to reUp on my As I am conditioner. I’ve only had the shampoo and leave in but best believe I’m grabbing some!

It’s going to change, as her body changes,. I went to dermatologist looking for a solution, and they told me it also had something to do with yeast build up in my body as well. I took steroid shot. It did help me. Of course I would NOT recommend that for your daughter and I wouldn’t recommend for anybody to take steroid shots on a regular basis. Definitely unhealthy, I tried it once
But it did help at a time when my flareup was really bad. I have been on a journey to find out more about this. I’ve been getting it for years and as your daughter grows, it will change, as far as when it flares up and when it doesn’t….. I have changed products, I have tried putting more healthy things in my body, taking the right vitamins, making sure to use pure oils, etc. etc. you name it I’ve done it. I think it’s a matter of taking time to study it, learn when it flares up and track. What did you use around the time that it flared up? Also, what are we putting in the body etc. please keep your journey it helps.
