That looks like a really nice guitar. Cort is fortunate to have such a fantastic guitar player demonstrating their G290. Nice guitar and great playing, now that's a demo.
Top shelf guitar for (relatively speaking) very little money. The neck is a bit on the thicker side, but very, very comfortable nonetheless. The compound radius and transitioning neck shape (C-shape at first fret, U-shape at highest frets) really works well. Looks wonderful, sound great too. I really love the pickups. They are high-output pickups with all the character and sensibilities of a PAF style pickup. Mine came with super-low action, perfect frets, simply an all-round winner. (the ash body is pretty heavy, though, that would be the only caveat).

I had about a dozen of usa-japan branded guitars and basses, a custom guitar made by Lepsky, Russia, a pair of Corts - a B5 bass and a KX5 with bleeding heart, and also a laminate parlor acoustic AP550 series - and a full lot of guitars by Cort we have sold in our shop for many years - and I find that Cort is good in professionalism and quality, especially if spoken about higher level models.

All tracks are so Beautiful. But this guitar is mainly for those Blues,Jazz and Rock. Not for metal,funk,punk. On this point the CR300 is the all rounder. But G290 is the King for cleans and crunch!! Loved the demo very much. Thanks.

Depends on your needs. If you're going for Rock and Metal you should take the Cort but it is also versatile with the 5 way switch so you could also play basically every genre. And a Strat is a Strat, awesome guitar and you know what you get.
Cort is probably making the same guitar for them. They have better brand recognition in the US and cort is more than willing to let them do the marketing while they manufacture. It's a good relationship. Quite often, the ibz version is as cheap or cheaper than the cort here due to the limited distribution of the corts.

yes. the tremolo cavity is recessed, so you can move the tremolo back and forth.

Believe any hype you hear - these guitars are really that terrific. Ibanez and Schecter are now copying it!!
