We were just in Page and paddle boarded to Lone Rock which is now not so lonely. It’s dry on three sides with a huge beach next to it. You must have been there a year ago or so because the water has dropped 50’ in the last year. Was very crazy to see Lone Rock surrounded by water in your video.
3 years ago we went across Louisiana on I-20 it was terrible. Roads was fine across Bama and Mississippi but once in Louisiana, boy to was rough both ways
Hi Corey and Jess! I saw you in the video with KYD. They came to Maine to visit you. You all were funny. I loved how you all were hiking and saw the Big Horn sheep. It looked like they were following you. That meat did look good you cooked up. I was wondering where mine was. Lol!! Wish we had smell a vision. Hope you had a great summer. Looking forward to your new season this weekend coming up. Last week I saw you all with Nathan and Marissa at the Grand Design Rally. Pretty cool got see you with KYD this week plus your own. Pretty cool when you all Nathan and you and KYD are my favorite families. You all are great people. 👍🤗❤️Have a great week and and see you all soon!

I love your videos. Today is my first time to get to know you. Love your family and that you can vacation together and sightseeing together. We have been camping at the same places you have. The first time we were on CA Hwy 1 / 101 was on our honeymoon in 1970. Long Beach to Vancouver. We have family in AZ, NM, CO, UT, and more. We love camping and I don't like to make reservations, just like you. We just got back from a 4 week Adventure on 10-22-21. We started in Reno (home) 9-25-21 across Hwy 50 and stoped at each town on the way and got a stamp in our book, "The Official NV Hwy 50 Survival Guide, The Loneliest Road in American." Then went south on Highway 93 to Laughlin NV then went north on Highway 95 to Reno. Thank you for your Adventures. Larry & Anita
We visited Sedona a few years ago during our Grand Canyon trip. It's amazing there. We got a little rain too, which makes the red mud really thick on your shoes when hiking. Great Video! Thanks for sharing!
That is sooooo cool!! Thank you for your video and info! Everyone looks like they are having such a relaxing time while creating amazing memories. You just guys made me so excited for my new journey! Arizona is one of my favorite places to hike!
Oh I wish I had found your channel sooner! I had commented on another (future) video of yours about these very same dunes. We live in Yuma, AZ and that is where we camp all the time! The Imperial Sand Dunes cover about 1,000 square miles! It would blow your mind! You definitely don’t want to be out there during the summer months though. Opening weekend for dune season, for most people, is Halloween through about the end of April (or around Easter).
Lone Rock is amazing and we love it there! We were there Feb 2021 and there were only 4 other RVs there. We will be going back this winter for sure! The weather at Lake Powell can be unpredictable for sure...as you found out. Hope to see you guys on the road sometime!

I know they are experienced hikers, you know their abilities, and you wouldn't put them in danger. My anxiety ramps up anyway, while at the same time, you encourage me to want to go there. Looking forward to the next season. You are such a great family.

Your channel offers me more things to do and places to find when we start our "Someday". COVID put a hold on some of the things we were going to do this year. We plan to head to the NE late next summer early fall of next year. Since we want to go into Canada we want to make sure it's open and not too cold. I hope to get ideas on things to see in Maine from you guys as we get ready to go.
We had a great time with Marc and Trish and Caleb. So glad we had a spot for them. September to October are the best times to be in Maine. You still get warm weather, but the kids are back in school and the tourists have gone home and then you get the peak foliage beginning of October and can follow it right out of New England. Shoot us an email at: jessie@findingoursomeday.com and we can send you are list of must sees in Maine!
I LOVED this video. I love every video you put out. No joke. You 4 ROCK. I also watched you all on the KYD channel trying to dodge that Hurricane Henri. I have to visit Maine now. It looks so beautiful, and the donuts must be the best in all of the land. lol. Stay safe!!
We smoked an 80lbs pig yesterday at my son's home was fantastic. 3 Rv's massive campfire about 15 people and of course a couple bottles of Jamesons was an all-day affair we started at about 1pm and ended about 12am PS for lunch we had deer and bear burgers the only thing missing was some Moose sausage. He made his own smoker out of a big propane tank and has a wood stove with a pipe going into the tank thing works awesome.
I Live in Alaska, travel back n forth from here in Utah. Alaska roads an the Alkan Highway is Not what people think. They are worked on every summer and we have slower speed limits for are highways because of permafrost! It’s a beautiful state Everyone should experience ❤️❤️❤️ Your videos are awesome and full of information thanks!! Safe travels💫
We absolutely agree! Alaska was one of our favorite adventures in the last 4 years and tell everyone that they need to get up there! The roads being underivable is a myth!
Just found you all from Keep your Daydream. Great channel. That's a lot of sand. The rams were so close. Cool. Grill times are good times Can't wait to finish our Overlander to hit the beaches of Florida and start filming

Thank you for watching and for supporting both of our channels! We had a great time with Marc and Trish and the only driving Caleb did with Lily was on the paddle boards! 😂
Jess isn't a fan either as you guys know, but the beginning of the bridge is super wide so you can go only as far as you are comfortable. It is wide enough all the way across that you can't see down either side so that helps as well! Thanks for watching, guys! 🙌
Good fun to watch your videos! I live in Australia and do a lot of travelling here. You would love it but would need to change your rig to a 4 x 4 van and a 4 x 4 vehicle with a Diesel engine for all the deep water creek crossings. Keep the vids coming!!!
Hey! Glad you enjoyed it! We would love to visit Australia one day! Our truck is 4X4 and diesel 💪😎 if we did more over landing a 4 inch lift with 37s wouldn’t hurt! We’re currently stock height (1inch lift in the front) with 34 inch tires.

Really good show this week you really are my fav sunday watch. Im the same way when it comes to smoking meats. Im trying something new every time. I tried kinder the blend a few times but last time I used it the meat seemed to be really salty maybe a little over kill on the season. I do have a good assortment of different seasoning just can't seem to stop buying something new. Just this weekend I just put a beef shoulder roast into the slow cooker for six hours added some water and two packs of lippton beefy mushroom seasoning for gravy made instapot mash and that was a big hit with the family back to something simple.
That’s a huge compliment! Thank you Derek! Not sure how I missed this comment! We do prefer it more on the salty side, but I don’t use that as heavy as a typical rub. That beef shoulder sounds amazing 😳 experimenting keeps it interesting !
Enjoyed the video as always! Hope to get out west soon. We did just spend 4 weeks in Maine/new Hampshire. Y'all live in a beautiful state. I also noticed y'all have a very nice home via kyd. Thanks for the video!

You are time travelers. Sedona/Palm Springs and Portland, ME on the same weekend 😂. Nice episode.
Just a little bit of TH-cam magic!😂
I LOVED this video. I love every video you put out. No joke. You 4 ROCK. I also watched you all on the KYD channel trying to dodge that Hurricane Henri. I have to visit Maine now. It looks so beautiful, and the donuts must be the best in all of the land. lol. Stay safe!!
Glad you found us! Thank you for watching ! For some reason youtube had your comments hidden from us! All good now, and yes very good donuts 😎😂
The BLEND seasoning is the same as Santa Maria Seasoning! Works great to season generously and then refrigerate overnight like you did!!!
It’s a classic mix! Thanks for taking the time to comment
Now that sounds like a party! I've never spoked a pig before but it is definitely on the list. Just probably not with Davy! 😉
I have got to go there…Cathedrals Rock and yes! In answer to Douglas Payne’s question!
Beautiful. Really enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for joining us on our journey!
Love your photography!
Oh, Sedona. My son's favorite place on Earth. My dream is to "connect" with his spirit there. I miss him so much. Thanks for the videos.
So sorry about your son! Have you been able to visit any of his favorite places?
Try the savory spice shop. They have great spices
I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation!
What a wonderful season can't wait for your new season & the renovations. You guys are a joy to watch stay safe and happy journey's. 🙂🇨🇦❤👍
Can't wait to share all we did and what the RV looks like now! Thanks so much for watching!
I thought one of them is a girl, you called them men,I mean both are males. I thought I saw a girl
I Live in Alaska, travel back n forth from here in Utah. Alaska roads an the Alkan Highway is Not what people think. They are worked on every summer and we have slower speed limits for are highways because of permafrost!
It’s a beautiful state Everyone should experience ❤️❤️❤️
Your videos are awesome and full of information thanks!!
Cool. Grill times are good times
Can't wait to finish our Overlander to hit the beaches of Florida and start filming
So glad you found us! For some reason youtube had you comments hidden from us!
@@FindingOurSomeday yeah TH-cam can be funny like that.
Welcome to SoCal
Such a beautiful state!
Love your videos and your family. Thanks for being true to who you are. Watched KYD after your video. Your two families have great chemistry together and it is so nice to see. Also did Caleb take Lilly for a drive?
Thank you for watching and for supporting both of our channels! We had a great time with Marc and Trish and the only driving Caleb did with Lily was on the paddle boards! 😂
We always enjoy your videos. See you again soon 🙂
Thank you! We are so glad you are here with us!
Kinder is found at Sportsman Warehouse here.
Nice! Glad they are showing up in different stores!
The west. You’re on your way here again. 👍👍 reach out!!
Grilled onions! Really nice adventure to follow along. Ellen wants to know how wide is Devil's Bridge. She is not a fan of heights.
We love Australia! I bet the camping there is amazing. What is your favorite area to camp?
@@OurGoldRoad
Hi guys, have a look at videos of the Kimberleys
In Western Australia. The Gibb River Road . There’s a couple doing it at the moment. Their you tube channel is called “ trip in a van” travelling Australia and their names are Keenan and Sarah
@@OurGoldRoad
Sarah and Keelan travels is the actual channel name! It’s worth a look
We so agree with you, I-10 in Louisiana is the worst road and in the future we will avoid it at all cost!
We couldn’t believe that our RV wasn’t completely wrecked the last time we drove it. We stopped three times to check the inside.
My first video I have seen of yours. Found out about you guys from KYD. Love your video. Became a subscriber. Guess I need to catch up on the rest of your video's.
So glad to have you! Thank you for subscribing and joining us on our journey!😃
Beautiful!
Sedona is amazing!
If you come back to Sedona, you should hike the West Fork of Clear Creek. It’s a easy hike along the creek and you cross the creek about 15 times. 👍👍
KYD subscriber here!!! Glad to check out your wonderful family!!!
Glad to have you! Thanks for watching!
We got to the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, it was beautiful
Enjoyed the video as always! Hope to get out west soon. We did just spend 4 weeks in Maine/new Hampshire. Y'all live in a beautiful state. I also noticed y'all have a very nice home via kyd. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! So glad you were able to enjoy our home town during one of our favorite times of year! And the house we stay in when we visit family in Maine is a good friend’s home that they graciously let us have when we are home!😃
I stumbled onto you channel and am enjoying the videos, but I subscribed when I saw the Davey Crockett :-D The roas tlooked great! Have you tried Oakridge BBQ seasonings?
Wow I can't believe that that water is gone.
Great season! 👍🌈 💜.
Thank you for being here with us!🙌
When you get up to Northern California you should check out the Fern Canyon where they filmed drastic Park we live in Redding California been there a couple of times
We did make it there, so amazing!
@@FindingOurSomeday I’m the one we were talking about the truck situation , interested about your tomahawk steak you’ve cooked
Tomahawks are fun ! Basically a fat ribeye steak with a bone on it. I smoked them for 45 minutes then seared them for about 4 minutes a side on the Blackstone.
@@FindingOurSomeday Don’t have a smoker I probably will use Pappys on this one my son does have a smoker though unless I let him do it
Those Big Horn Sheep are part of the Big Horn Sheep Institute and was started by my wife Uncle. 14:45
No way! That's awesome!
You have to check the Bearded Butcher Blend Seasonings. The best!!!
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll check it out!
Waviest roads in America are in Jackson, Mississippi. Scary ride in a car, can’t imagine pulling a trailer.
Interesting! We will have to check it out! 😃
1st off we love you videos & esp your photography - all very well done! My husband & I travel a lot & attempt to make selfies w/ our phone! Your family selfies are always spot on! What camera do you use for those? What extender? And how do you make the camera disappear while walking across the Devil’s Bridge Trail? I’ve seen you do this 360 in other videos & its so cool!! Thank you so much!! Happy & safe travels!!! Michelle
