correct. flat coke is easier for your stomach to digest when you're racing or riding as the coke isn't high in carbonation then when it's straight out of the can or bottle.
@soldierside365 Well yes, there's a huge amount of time devoted to cycling in training because you sometimes spend two or three times more time on a bike during the race than the run or swim. (Ex: Kona pro athletes: 5hrs bike and 2h30 run) Good luck with your training..!! and welcome to the family.
im a newbie to triathlons, never done one, but one day aspire to complete a full ironman.. what ive seen from watching some training vids is that theres a huge amount of time devoted to cycling.. is this the norm in a 'typical' training program?
@delilah15021993 Haha thanks very much! still got to finish my army training before i can devote any serious time to it, but now its all about knowledge accumulation ;)
Lance has already won an Ironman 70.3 in Hawaii. Unfortunately he's banned from Ironman events now, but I'm sure he could handle it. Tour De France is Ironman distances every day for a month.
So far there's no proof of his doping. By the superior tone of your comment it sounds like you've got the proof the world has been waiting for, so don't be shy. Let's hear it.
