Larry was one of the pioneers of freestyle back in the day 🤙🏼 ….looks like he has had a good life. I’m happy the Ripper parlayed the sport into film success
Awesome! You where the reason that I started racing jet skis in the early 80s ! You are one of the most successful guys I’ve seen! I’m now 51! Watching you in Jet Dreams was also my favorite! I’m still watching the movie an about to purchase stand ups for my kid! I actually went to school with a guy name John Chadwell who told me once that he knew or was related to you! RIP John! Can’t wait to see you ride the blue stand up with some 80s music going! Thanks Larry for all the memories and posting! Danny!
Larry Legend. I started out in '85 with a 550 and Larry was the man. I tried to copy all his freestyle moves. Had a blast watching and learning from him. Watched him race too. Great memories!
Hi Larry, I am very proud to say that I know you. You sure did make a fantastic career out of riding jet skis. You didn't stop there either. It would be great to visit with you sometime. Gary Dyer
Manteca water slides! Grew up going there! Ooooohhh the memories!!! Between my 1974 400, my 440 and 550's, I love and respect the old school ride (even through it can kick my butt on a that "wiggle sticks")

What happened to his original Jet Pilot Ripper boat? I would like to know if anyone has it. Great video guys.
Had no idea he was a stuntman what an a life
Wasn’t he the guy who rode the x2 in freestyle and did headstands?
You are probably thinking of Kamikaze Kantz.
Th Ripper rode 2 stand ups at once. STONE MTN GA. EPIC but now pretty tame
Find the king of x2 Kantz
Does he still ride stands?
