Just focus on the cos x here. As we already know that cos (-x) = cos x we can easily write cos (-5) = cos (5) and hence, cos^-1(cos -5) = cos^-1(cos 5). Now proceed normally :)
@@JEEMATHSZTI I agree with you But according to graph -2π to -π के बीच y की value x+ 2π honi चाहिए जबकि cos(-x)=cosx ke concept से y की value 2π-x होनी चाहिए , तो इनमे से कोनसा सही है , Vaise Sin vale me problem nahi hai

Chances kam hai but use ho sakta hai. But chances are less. We study it only to enhance our knowledge and be on the safer side.
