Yes, I’ve seen BabyMetal live. It was a few years ago. Small venue in the US. I will be going to their show in Los Angeles this October. So, I’ll be blessed to experience BabyMetal once again but this time with Western Kami. One day, I’ll have to go to Japan to experience the full-blown BabyMetal show. That Japanese crowd is second to none.
Unfortunately, as a foreigner in Japan you won't be allowed to buy the normal tickets. You will be relegated to a few special foreigner tickets with segregated seats in the least attractive part of the venue. Japan is great in many ways, but as a foreigner, you are not welcome to take part of much. Visiting as a tourist can be fine, as long as you do the touristy things with maybe a pre-booked package deal and a Japanese speaking guide to shepherd you around. But if you go there expecting to mingle with the locals and do what they do, you will find it very hard going indeed. Doesn't even matter if you speak fluent Japanese. Make sure you have some friends over there before even trying, I'd say. Or at least travel with someone who has been there before.
Just seen them the other day in Vancouver, amazing live is all I can say, the band is phenomenal and the girls simply will take your breath away, would highly recommend seeing them
Good one, thanks! "Divine attack" was the first single of The Other ONE and the way they came back after their hiatus. I loved this song from the very first time I listened to it. Very elegant, well structured, with cool drum and bass parts, a smooth drive, some heavy riffing and a symphonic touch. Not to mention Su-metal's gorgeous vocals and the fact she wrote the lyrics on this one for the first time. So I'm very happy for her and very proud. I saw them live for the first time in Berlin (Germany) last May during their tour with Sabaton. It was too short, but an overwhelming experience. And I will see them again next December in Barcelona (my hometown) and Madrid. Until next time! 🤘🦊
I saw Babymetal in Philadelphia on September 12th They always put on a great show lots of energy I've seen them twice before in Charlotte North Carolina in 2018 and Washington DC in 2019 always lots of fun
Just saw them live in Toronto - even having been a fan for years and years I wasn't ready for how incredible the live show is. It was 2 weeks ago and it's still in my head.
I've had the pleasure of seeing them six times. Twice in Japan, and four times in Australia. While all six performances were amazing, the concerts in Japan were indescribable. You have to experience it for yourself. There's a big difference in the vibe between 5,000 and 20,000 people. Damn it, Su-metal doing the t-pose is too much for me. She's having a great time and I'm loving it.
This is compilation of the concerts at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo in January, and at PIA Arena MM in Yokohama in April. I traveled to Japan for both shows and they were every bit as epic as they look on film and then some. At the January show, it was the Japanese Kami Band playing with them, so the drummer was Hideki Aoyama, while at the April show it was the American Kami Band, with Anthony Barone on drums.
Good reaction. Any live pro-shot videos for songs from this album (released March this year) will be from Makuhari Messe (BABYMETAL Returns) in January or PIA MM in Yokohama in April (BABYMETAL Begins) - those were the shows shown on Wowow or that have been released on DVD/BluRay. The channel that made this compilation video usually lists all the shows used in the description. Momoko still wasn't a member when this album was recorded, but from the second night (Clear Night) at PIA she has been mic'd up and singing. Su-metal has writing credits for the lyrics in this song for the first time. She heard the demo and liked it so much, it reminded her of 'Road of Resistance' (a song from their second album where they collaborated with Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce), that she said she wanted to write the lyrics ... which is what happened. I've seen them live 3 times so far, they were a support act in one of them (they were great but their space and time were limited), the other two are right up among the best concerts I've been to (one of them was the concert I had most fun out of any I've been to) and I started going to concerts in the 70s watching some of the recognised great live rock and metal (and some other) bands. I have to wait until November for them to come back to London again.
I love how some posters are so knowledge, you're one of them, thanks for the info 👍🏻 I've hesitated to compare with 70s bands in my comments (I saw Led Zeppelin in 75 and other top bands, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd etc etc) and although I haven't seen BM live even the videos do more to my senses and emotions than those giants of old. Their performances are a visual and aural experience unlike anything I've known. Sounds extreme to say it but reading your comment, I suspect you get a similar reaction?
@@Just-a-Thought. Your suspicions are correct - and thanks.🙂 You saw Led Zeppelin before I did (1979) and it sounds like we've seen many of the same or similar bands and I honestly rate Su-metal up there among (and above most of) the very best frontmen (I saw Queen with Freddie Mercury and she has the same sort of aura, grabbing and holding your attention when she is on stage). I hope you get to see them live for yourself - even the best DVDs etc don't quite prepare you. BABYMETAL were that something original and unique that I never knew I needed.

I'd love to see Babymetal and am ever hopeful of finding someone like minded in London. Your last paragraph sums it up for me 😊🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。BABYMETAL are now going on North American tour with DETHKLOK (in USA & Canada) and have finished 20th gig out of total 30. If you have a chance please go and see them live. This is a compilation from two shows in Japan this year. I witnessed both performance at the venues. The bands in the girls' back were East Kami (January) and West Kami (April). Although the audio is from the East in this video, both are great. 😍 The third era (or fourth?) of BABYMETAL has begun. I reconfirmed the purity of Su's voice even with some maturity added. Moa's velvety but powerful voice in the back sounds great, too. In April, new official member Momometal added her soothing voice. Hail to the newly born lyricist Su!!

Always astounding but they've really matured vocally and musically over the last 3 years. As have Su and Moa, who have been performing for 12 years together now.

Why do TH-camrs always do that "coming up" thing at the start of the video? It's so dumb. Like, I'm already watching the video. Don't spoil the video for me already. I want to go in blind.
