18:37 the largest teno of the bunch took refuge on a fallen log, but the younger ones kept fighting. The dryosaurus was putting in as much effort as well. I respect that
Okaaaay that was the weirdest sense of de-ja-vu. I think I was in game and witnessed that last fight... D: I was hiding in the bushes by the big rock as a tiny baby teno. Wasn't a part of that group, but I'd gotten excited about tenos being in the area, and then quickly opted to stay in the bushes when I realized there were dilos... I remember seeing the teno on the log and falling over just like that.
Yo that’s awesome lol, small world. We wouldn’t have killed you if you left us alone either way, heck we weren’t even interested in hunting the tenos in the first place
@@acronym6837 It's entirely possible I just witnessed something similar but that whole fight looked so familiar! I tend to play on the cautious side, usually, so I'd opted not to poke my head out mid fight. Ended up slinking away along the cliff in the bushes.
@@Novahla91 could be but it would be pretty cool if you whitenessed it haha. That’s pretty smart, the best thing you can do is be hidden and avoid any confrontation if possible when you’re small
The last fight was soo satisfying!! I suppose being a very easily spotted colour can be a signal that you are either very skilled and bold or that you are stupid and bold.
1:13 You are right, a lot of the Carnivores (basically every carnivore except Cera, Herrera, Ptera and Troodon) can use a decent buff to their damage outputs in general or to certain attacks they have depending on the species, Omni could use a buff to how much damage it does when it pins down something solo, Dilo can use a %10-15 damage buff to it's bite and alt attack, Carno's bite is fine but it's charge should do more damage if it runs with charge for a long time, it should still do less if it's spamming charge but if it lands a charge from let's say 50 meters or so for example I think it should do a lot more damage than just 150, maybe up to 300 so if it lands a headshot, which is unlikely from a distance, I mean outside of it being easier to dodge most Carnos tend to prefer the low risk low reward option of spamming charge anyway so why not reward the players who are actually trying. And lastly Deino, it's bite is completely fine for now but I think it should be slightly more of a threat to apexes when they cross rivers so maybe get it's bite to 600-650, I mean if a Cera can do nearly 400 damage with a single bite I think it's fair.
I honestly think if they just add smaller herbivores for carnivores to hunt they won’t need to keep buffing the current ones. Also, carnivores players tend to be the ones who ruin the fun for herbivores players by not thinking critically and murdering the whole population of a species, then complain there’s no food. I experienced this first had when a single Omni killed my whole dryo family for no reason, it was hard enough to get 8 people to hatch as dryo and that Omni ruined it. I bring this up because if there were more small tier dinosaur players the problem might not be such a big problem, once hypsi gets climbing and dryo gets burrowing I’m sure a ton of people will play as them, I sure will.
Oh and, there is a reward for players who use carno appropriately, the longer you hold a charge the more damage you do, that’s the reward for ambushing. It’s up to the carno plays whether they use that or not.
@@foreverbeep1339 You are right the attitude of carnivore players do hurt the small herbivore population, that's why when I do see them I usually leave them be, but I don't think that is the main reason, people just don't want to play as weaker creatures that rely mostly on running away and hiding, to me that can be fun as long as it is viable. So yea once Dryo has it's burrowing I'll probably give it a go aswell.
@@foreverbeep1339 Yea but the maximum damage is only 150 iirc which is not really rewarding, specially when tap charge is 100, no one is going to risk the higher chance to miss just for 50 more damage, that's why I think the max charge damage should be buffed to be up to 300.
@ALunaticWithAShotgun ooh I didn't know that, I don't really know dinosaur stats, I just kinda understand which dinosaurs can defend against which. I play semi-realism servers so I don't really focus on combat as much, especially when I main dryo. I'm getting into playing teno now tho so I might look into stats.more
Been playing Dilo for two weeks now, It's an absolute shitshow of an experience, on par with Pachy. Just wondering, why didn't you use the clones on the zombie chasing you? Could have maybe killed him or at least distracted him.
Yeah it’s wild sometimes, and the lag doesn’t help. In the moment I thought the venom stages reset when he turned so I didn’t think to use them because I thought he had no venom on him
