I was just like you Elle when I had my daughter. My Mom always said it was like I was playing with my dolls. Now I have been blessed with a granddaughter named London and I am getting a second chance at loving doing the girly thing and playing house and dolls with her. Enjoy each moment it goes by so quickly💕💕

It honestly is the cutest thing. He’s only seen them once in a whole year (albeit for a few weeks at the time) but as you said remembers them so well -they really are his best friends. ❤
Elle if you guys aren’t already, please wash your fruit! It’s bad enough in the UK but even more important in the US, especially for the kids. I’ve noticed a couple of times Connor/the kids popping grapes straight from the carton, I could be wrong and please forgive me if so, purely just mentioning it from a place of love and care! Postpartum hair loss is related to hormone production. When you're pregnant, your hair shed cycle slows down pretty dramatically. When your hormones return to their baseline level around 3-4 months postpartum, the shed cycle resumes. The issue is that it's not really consistent all over the head, and that's why we end up w/ thinner spots and the baby hairs at the hair line. The more pregnancies you have and the closer together they are, the worse the potential for hair loss is. (Not trying to scare you, there's nothing you can do to STOP it. There's tons of stuff you can do to help encourage regrowth though.

I wish my hair knew it was supposed to not be in a shedding phase right now 😂 26 weeks and still sheds a lot. Didn’t with my last pregnancy though, so odd.

Learning to sew is quite easy and so rewarding. I used to make my sons clothes when he was a baby (25+ years ago) because I wanted nice clothes…not army print or superhero patterns. Baby clothes are great for beginners because they are not fitted clothes like adults wear….the nappy etc means all pants are baggy…so you won’t notice a mistake in how you sewed them 😂

You saying about the baby girl clothes, my mum cleared out her loft when I was TTC with my boy so I took a lot of my old clothes, we have kept some dresses in our loft in case we have a baby girl in the future but I dressed my boy in a lot of my baby stuff that was more gender neutral and it was such a lovely thing to be able to do!

I did my daughters dresses like that at my daughters baby shower. The kicker was that my daughter did not remember I had them. It was very sentimental.

I had bad hair loss after my little boy especially on left side dunno if that’s because i always slept facing that way as wanted to face him hes nearly 3 an tried everything been using uk lash hair syrum for 2 weeks now an my bald patch is filling in would like recommend also would highly recommend sol skin tan I’ve tried and tested every tan on the market and would never get another tan now it’s amazing xx
I breast fed all my five I think it’s the hormone drop that causes it it did with me lots of breakage and took six months or so to settle down xxx Ruth
So glad i found out about wake windows before having my boy its the key
It didn't work for my baby, so I think all babies are different, like people, what works for one might not be the best thing for another so I don't think there is a blanket or one size fits all 😊

Having girls we are lucky with choices of clothes we get to wear skirts, dresses, trousers and so on girls clothes have come along way since I had my daughter 36 years ago
I didn't get postpartum hair loss and I breastfed for 2 years so I don't think it has any impact
