Bill was my voice teacher the summer of 1995 at Charles Novell’s Christian Music Conference and even as an older man his voice had me in awe. What an underrated tenor
You hit the nail right on the head with your comment… man, does he ever bring about the goose bumps. Incredible. He was a Christian man so he is praising his Saviour this very moment. Thank you for the songs Mr. Baize. Bill Baize September 17, 1940 - May 15, 2023
WHEN IT''S MY TIME When it's my time for tears and for trials When it's my time to carry a heavy load When this old heart of mine starts to tremble Then it's my time to call on my Lord When it's my time to be talked to unkindly When it's my time to be criticized When my whole world is falling around me Then it's my time to call on my Lord Oh, there is nothing like the sweetness of Jesus being near Oh, nothing like his presence to dry my every tear When my whole world is falling around me Then it's my time to call on my Lord
Many years ago when Bill was traveling around the country preaching and singing in churches, he came to our church in Virginia many times and we heard him sing this song in person. Still blesses me so much to hear him sing☺️🙂❤️💕
Bill baize was a spezial very nice man. With a great god give Talent ❤😢❤ we missing you ❤😢❤ Thank you very much for your great work. The great elvis Show in Heaven is bigger and better 😢😢😢
I’ve no doubt that Elvis felt the same way. It’s plain to see that he was in absolute awe of the people on stage with him. Everyone on stage got a solo in his concerts and more often than not in the 70’s shows, you’ll see him trying to either match JD Sumner or seek approval from him if he feels that he got close to the JD’s low notes. Elvis genuinely had some of the best of the best singers alongside him.
I was blessed to know Bill and be one of his vocal students in 1975 at the Stamps, Blackwood, Speers School of Music at Murray State University summer of 1975. The infamous year where the Stamps Live album was recorded. Being a student of his was a privilege. Tears were shed when I heard he went home.😢
Thank you to Elvis to discover us the incredible voice of bill baize and others entertainers! I would like to born before to see these concerts! Elvis you ll be the king for eternity! You re unique!
Ha! I love it when Elvis says "I hate it, so help me I hate him, do that ending one more time!" He just had such an appreciation for good talent, he didn't have an ego whatsoever about sharing the stage.
@@sfmc98 I was born in 1980, so too late. But the first time I heared him, for me he was spectacular. He had something more that nobody else has. It s really difficult to explain! But for me he s more than the KING. One day I will go to graceland!
@@pelvismc I hope you get to go. I went back in 2003, and I'm ashamed to say, I don't have any photos or a good memory of it. I want to go back as well. I am actually right now watching the special that was filmed in 1984 with Priscilla: th-cam.com/video/Hl3SoOtifZU/w-d-xo.html

Wow... really?
Yes you have Mam! #ThaneDunn #MelanieDunn I met your husband at the airport once in 2010 in St. John, NB. Man, he looked cool!
Elvis surrounded himself with only the best, and he always was so gracious as to let others have the spotlight.
Bill had amazing voice.
RIP champ!!! Thanks for all the goozebumps you have created with your voice...

I love how excited Elvis gets when he hears Gospel music! I get the same way.
C Fife Me too! I love how much he appreciated and admired the people he worked with. He was very proud of them.

I have been a fan for a number of years. First time I have heard this today. Stopped me in my tracks. What a track, what a voice.
It's my first time to hear this live version, I've heard the 1972 on tour movie version. He gives elvis a good run for his money

Fucking horrible.
How
@@MichaelJ44 The horrible screeching. If heaven was real and that's how they sing, it would be worse than hell.
