I am a Shawol for years now and the only thing I can say about this cover is AMAZING. Picking SHINee's songs to do covers is hella dangerous, because it's easy to ruin them and look unnatural. It's like stepping on the mine. But fck, ATEEZ made it. They didn't just dry cover it, they added their own vibe which made this fcking BEAUTIFUL and MAGNIFICENT. Their future is so bright it blinds me, they have so much talent I'm speechless. For years only SHINee could surprise me, but ya know what? I'm also an Atiny now. They are so fcking amazing it hurts. Talents, real talents. They are not rookies at all, they perform like they have years of practice on their backs. Amazing! It's the best cover of SHINee's song I've ever seen.

let's talk about jongho's versatility!!! like at 0:28 he's not just singing the song, but matching his tone and style to be similar to the original. I'm not totally sure what that is called on the syllable *ha*jima but it's a shinee signature and also not at all something jongho does in his normal singing but he pulls it off so naturally here. seriously amazing. he really could be the best vocalist of the 4th generation.

Ikr, he is legit the only 4th generation male vocalist I can think of that can bring back that Jonghyun presence. Yeah there are some vocalists like Yedam from TREASURE or Taehyun from TXT but Jongho just stands out the most to me!
As a shawol i can say that taehyun from txt can sing his parts perfectly as well

I'm gonna say my opinion.
ATEEZ is more of 'thieves' vibe than 'detectives' vibe.
Their dance is so organized and powerful, it's actually captivating when you know that SHINee's original choreography.
The contrast makes me interested to watch how they interpret SHINee's gentleman and beautiful, sherlock style choreo into ATEEZ's wild , joker style.

Ateez's vocals are gorgeous in Sherlock, they really divided the parts perfectly to fit each member. Jongho and San sound amazing and Yunho is just so solid, I haven't heard any other group cover the vocal part SO WELL as Ateez excluding of course SHINee themselves.
They are so good which is why they really didn’t need this much autotune :/

I'm not very familiar with ATEEZ but as a long-time Shawol this cover warmed my heart ♥ since SHINee is an older group you don't see many covers of their songs anymore and it saddens me a bit when newer kpop fans don't know much about them. But ATEEZ really did justice to Sherlock in my opinion!
Please check their songs if you like hard badass dark music than check their title tracks if you love more delicate kind of music check their b-sides they are so verisatile and colorful so it's impossible that you won't find something you like

This is the Sherlock choreography, but it isn't the way SHINee dances it. ATEEZ made it their own, which honestly shows that the band has a good idea of their own identity and don't feel the need to copy SHINee.

To be honest this performance is by far the Best Cover that ATEEZ did but sadly it's so underrated. This should have blown up the moment this was release.

Ateez are literally all rounders, I am both Shawol and Atiny, Ateez is the only 4th group that I stan, they look like 2nd gen group imo. Their whole discography is awesome but I recommend checking out Treasure, Pirate King, Hala Hala, Say My Name, Utopia, Wonderland, Answer, Horizon, Win, Inception, Thanxx, To the Beat, Good Lil Boy and their covers of Black Cat Nero, Gang, Hayeoga.

Re-watched this a few times and Seonghwa's vocal skills me amaze every time! He has such flexibility with his voice that at times he doesn't sound like himself and I'm left shocked no matter how many times I watch this.

It's rare when a cover can rival the original, but this is SO GOOD. They kept the charm of the song but also added their own, especially vocal-wise and I'm so in love with this GROUP-
