@@JJOOKER Something seems wrong here as in patch 1.3 ,1080p ultra still drops below 30fps. Also he has ssr set to psycho here on ultra settings , it is bound to drop below 30fps. I think the changes didn't apply when he switched from high to ultra.
I think it was a big mistake releasing next gen in a pandemic. People can't buy consoles, pc parts cost too much or they aren't even available and most of the next gen games are only half baked.
The other mistake is to make it very demanding. Steam survey says the most popular GPU being used now is 1060, so they should have made it to run atleast 60 fps on medium settings on the GPU
@@cybervoid8442 You're asking too much from the poor 1060. The 10x series is now 2 generations behind, a more realistic goal would be the 2060. The 2060 was still at a reasonable price at the 3 original release date.

That would indicate that the bottleneck on this game is the cpu. Since his running a 6 core 12 thread setup, it appears that the game is highly demanding on single core performance. This is assuming nothing is pulling the zen2 cores down, but it doesn’t bode well since single core performance is already high, and without massive breakthroughs, unlikely to improve any time in the near future.

This game optimization isn't perfect, but it ain't bad by any means. Dont get "Badly Optimized" confused with "my system is too dogshit to handle one of the most demanding games out right now". Probably same type of person to complain that it doesn't run on PS4/XB1. No amount of optimization can make that possible.

Other games as well as triple A can run high-ultra settings at 60fps 1080p or ultra at 30fps 4k average, here its low settings can barely hold 60fps at 1080p? while the game looks like shite? yes its terrible optimization mate, God damn terrible. And the Steam score isnt helping its case either, sitting at a whopping 58%, I wonder why, while you're there take a gander at the reviews they give many examples for this train wreck of a bug simulator.
@@Darksider087 The amount of geometry in this game is more than the average open world game like witcher or RDR2 so my guess thats the reason its so heavy.But you can have stable 30 at high with a gtx 1060 or smooth 40+ with g sync monitor which is really playable and beatiful.Thats how i started it until i got a rtx 3070 and the game at ultra settings and ultra rt (dlss is magic) is really gorgeous.Game for me is not that bad the characters are really intresting.you should try it.

Just this year, Alien Isolation, Control, Frostpunk, NBA2k21, Surviving Mars, Rage 2 etc etc. They given away 37 games in the last 6 months alone.

I have the same config and i'm playing in 1080p medium at 30 fps fixed. Is the only way. My GPU usage is about 80% and never drops below 30fps
But the video show that in ultra getting 30 fps at least all the time ? its not this way in the game ? i was like 30 fps in ultra thats pretty okay...

i5 11400, 16 gb ram 3200 mhz, gtx 1060 6gb.
almost ultra settings 30 fps. But my i5 11400 is working only for 20%.

Fps looks like it improved. It used to drop from 30 fps in 1080p medium

It was the same, more or less, they released this 28GB patch with very underwhelming results, It's almost the same as 1.04 Patch.
