fun facts about this level -while making it i was listening to the lanota ost -the ship was based off the one from stasis -this level is inspired by 3t's by day by night vip level in rd (awesome level) -the original song for this chart was yellow dragon by m2u but i wasn't familiar with the song and infinity heaven worked better, the filenames are still prefixed by yd however -the windows xp background at the beginning of the chart was a placeholder but i forgor to change it -the clouds were taken from an asset pack, however those assets were allegedly taken from adofai.gg charts, which thankfully require asset permission to be posted -the ship is only 1400x1200, in hindsight i should've made it bigger but i didn't want a team vega incident -during the ship rising segment the ship actually stays in place, the ground moves instead -the rings were generated with python, in total there are ~491 assets, over half of them being the rings -i was originally gonna have a gimmick where you would fuel the ship but it didn’t fit into the song -there are actually three ships, after the first breaks through the clouds the balls get teleported like 500x 500y to a new area where the new ship and clouds are, the third one exists purely for the cutscene at the end anyways you should go watch the adofai compo because everyone did very well th-cam.com/video/Du8XHMxP_9Q/w-d-xo.html
just watched kingbling’s playthough of it and i can see why lmao the idea with that was the dotted ‘trail’ people use for marking their path in a map and i wanted orbit radius as a gimmick, perhaps i could’ve put a checkpoint in the middle though
i love the gimmick in this one, it actually puts the midspin only quirk to use
when the gimmick completely takes over the level
