Update: I have done it!!!! 2 weeks ago I have walked the full 100 km! What an incredible event! Tough, pain, suffering and in the end..........euphoria!!! I think I am hooked! :D
I agree with your translation. I only used the other version because I saw it in an (official) brochure. The German translation is "Marsch der Toten", which corresponds with your version. But now it's too late to change it. Anyway, I agree that this was again a great experience, very well organised and supported by the local people along the track.
