This is how I installed this DC TO DC Charger into my 2004 Toyota Sequoia. This is not a how to just a "How I did it" video. I take no responsibility for your install as I am NOT a licenced 12 volt technician. I will add a review after 3 months of use. Please like , comment and subscibe.

Thanks for the vlog on this unit, only install I’ve seen on youtube, how has it been holding up, any issues? Thinking of this unit instead of Renogy, RedArc or Victron to save on costs. Also did you get the solar hooked up and hows that working ?

It has been flawless so far. Switches like it supposed to. Has kept my battery charged. The Sequoia (what it's installed in.) Has been sitting mostly for the last 2 months. Thanks for the comment.

just wondering is it compatible for lithium Battery's?

According to the manual it is compatible with Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium, LiON Batteries. Thank you for the question.

@@Overland_eXploits_Oklahoma yep, they are just saying not the Lithium iron phosphate, it says it works with lithium on the listing. Just wanted to warn others incase.

@@Overland_eXploits_Oklahoma the current model ive purchased and am waiting for the arrival of, states Lifepo4 on the setting led on the charger, so it would appear they have updated this to work on Lead acid, AGM, Gel and Lifepo4, and the Lithium setting charges to 14.4v peak, so as not to stress the 3.65v max cell voltage, they will only go to 3.60, however i have my bms set to 3.50v per cell anyway so my bms will regulate the charge voltage anyway. No need to go higher than 3.50, it only causes undue degradation for maybe 2-3ah more.

Sorry late, Solar connected and keeps my battery topped up when not driving. Keeps battery up multiple days running fridge.

@@Overland_eXploits_Oklahoma what type of solar panels did you connect? whats the minimum wattage? I have observed that the 60Watt 18V solar panel wouldnt even charge my lead acid aux battery, i could not find any information about this. For the manual it came with, the diagram shows 600W 40A 25V, sounds like unverified. Thanks

When the battery is charged fully without any load, how many volts do you get? 14v more or less?
