Your jab has a tendency. There’s a slight twitch before you throw it. On that lead hook, remember to swing those hips toward the target- bend the knee in a bit and drive. Just TH-cam “squash the bug hooks and straights.”
@gjackson32001 thanks bro I start on it tonight..if u have the chance I did a sparring video, I never sparred so it's nothing crazy, and the guy took it easy on me ,but I don't have a coach but vids and my friend. So I would appreciate if u could help me out.
Don't lock your knees, feet pointed towards opponent, cover your face at all times tuck your chin, shoulders up, crouch your hips forward a bit, work on head movements and don't throw long punch keep it short and quick. Good luck.
@@idostuff220 we’ll step forward with lead foot when you throw the jab and when you come with the straight right step the the back foot, now practice this but if you get into a real fight there will be time when you don’t step in because if you step in to aggressive then your opponent can use your momentum against you so there will be time when you throw that jab standing still but I’d say to practice stepping with your punches because you cover more ground and that step that you do when punching can also put you in a defensive position to slip punches and change angles
Hey man, this bring joy to my eyes to see that even when wet get older we try new stuff and have passions, very inspiring, hope you have fun! I saw in a video that you shouldn't throw your head all the way to the side under the opponent when preparing for the hook, because yeah, it feels safe, but you won't have much power. Try keeping your head in place instead, and extend your arm, bend your elbow, rotate your foot to bring more power to the hook
Looks good my guy.
You’re in a tight space, but try to move around a bit more. It’ll help got a little more momentum on your punches.

You look nice at 46, man. Just need to fix your footwork a bit, maybe training in a bigger space would fit you better. Keep going!
