This is the most perfect Dance Of The Knights, the tempo, the intensity, the softness, everything.
The tempo to Montagues and Capulets is perfect. Too many other performances take it at a breakneck speed at which it loses some of its weight and gravity. I love this entire performance so much. Thank you for sharing this with us!
I am looking for the tempo giusto....really excited to find out..
OMG he gets it! fantastic! It is almost the same tempo as the others but the heavy articulation is given just enough space/time to be sinister in the right way.
SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
I made it to the top orchestra for my high school and we are playing this for a concert for the upcoming school year
Also I am a bass player
Wish me luck
Hope you stick to music, it is the only art that will love you back. But also, fixing cars. You have to choose. Don't feed masses or elitists, just family and homeless folks.
@@rachelmoore4284 That was one of the oddest comments I've ever read🤣🤣🤣

Yuri Temirkanov at his best again.
Божественная музыка! Красивая, выразительная, тонкая передача душевных переживаний.
Temirkanov is the last great genius in conducting. I have seen him hundreds of time, each concert of his is a great event.
His style of conducting is so different
@@manassworld3118 Different from what?
Every other conductor
1:55 when your teacher finds out you dont pracitise 40 hours a day
When you steal your friends rosin and they find out
lol he will slap you as the tense music comes
When you realize, Ling Ling is everywhere :D
1:55 when your parents catch you on your DS after hours
I have known and loved this great score for nearly 50 years and have heard many performances. Although some conductors take the tender moments slightly more gently than Temirkanov does, I do love the muscularity of this performance; particularly at the sequence from 18.08 It is one of the most impassioned passages in all music, as far as I'm concerned, and the playing here is deeply moving. Bravo!
He just make frame ad let interprets use their skill. At 2:20 how its prolonged .
Great playing and the music 5:44 II. Juliet, the Young Girl from Prokofjew is outstanding
Temirkanov is a genius, probably the last one. I use to meet him in Saint Petersburg; while conducting he's totally into the music, with love and respect. An humble giant.
🦇🦉🔥👁️piękne⏳
Montagus and Capulets is a jewel. Where it needs to be, it is subtle and charming, and likewise dramatic and dark. Add on top of that a distinctly Slavic and oriental flair.
Bravo...
Gives me goose bumps !!
Temirkanov really brings this to life!
And very dear savor of our théâtre Yuri Xotuevich !
Absolutely beautiful!
Magnífico. Versión perfecta.

My American Kansas Clarinet Ass: This conductor lets his group shine. It really looks like they love each other. Wow!

I found this beautiful music thanks for a Netflix serial “Spinning out„🥰
Me too, I love that series!!!😍
This wonderful performance Ìs a inspirational gift to Shakespeare lovers

Skvělé provedení.❤❤❤
5. Romeo at Juliet's before parting 14:08
Romeo*
Imagine the scene with dance of the knights! The anger, force and hatred combined with grace, savoir vivre and elegance... It's so typical of men: they can be both destructive and very polite. It makes me very sad, always when I listen to the whole Suite. In fact the oppositions like love and death are obviously main topics of Shakespeare's drama. And Prokofiev's composition is a truly masterpiece as far as these oppositions are concerned. He can bring to life the deepest meaning of them.
I wish the recordings had been hq quality!
Spinnig out brings me here.

The Russian empire, The Soviet Union and modern Russia has made some great contributions to our human history and culture. This is true in spite of the current political pro-war wind coming from the US and Russia haters of the post soviet republics.
In truth, every civilization in human history has had an effect whether positive or negative. Yet in this case, Prokófiev did do a great job with these pieces. However, don't believe all people are sheep as most of us see Russians as humans as well haha.
I hope 24.02.2022 most of people opened their eyes and understood what The Soviet Union and modern Russia is.

ONLY western world who sanctioning russia. REST OF THE WORLD MAJORITY (Latin america, africa, asia) not give a fukin' sanction.
True. Most of those Russia-haters are professional in fact, as soon as US runs out of money to pay them, you will never hear from them again. And the great Russian/Soviet culture will live forever just as the spirit of humane in peoples hearts, just as compassion and friendship. The new world is being born and it's our chance to be smart and loving and constructive once again.
@@pnl4660 Right. People saw Russia just as Soviet Union as a true power capable of standing up to tyranny and oppression and helping nations around the world get rid of colonial exploitation.
Great orchestra, and good conductor but lousy acoustics. Who designed this lousy theatre?
Ivar Tengbohm....could be mic and/or recording issues, tho
