Sweet Young Lady Did a Great Job Instructing on How To Make a Hula Hoop T-Shirt Rug. I liked that this video was straight forward with no loud annoying music or silly antics that distracted from the lesson. "Very Well Done!' Thank you for sharing.
I have just used your tutorial in an after school art and craft class with 4th to 6th graders with huge success. Thanks so much for your clear and simple instructions.
Awesome video, clear, detailed instruction without extra chatter. You make a fine teacher, and your design sense is good too. beautiful rug and inspiring video Thank you for sharing. XX
The best of all the hula hoop rug tutorials. I am going to teach my crafting club this and then donate the rugs to the local animal shelter, thank you.
I shared this with teacher friends as possible student fundraiser idea or just a great class project. You did an amazing job of presenting the project with such clear directions and cheerful presentation. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this tutorial. I've seen several articles and by far you have explained how to do this the most clearly. I can now start making my rug. I've done yarn pompom rugs and shag rugs from t-shirts, but this was the one that seemed the hardest and I didn't quite understand. You made it seem so easy. Congrats and keep up the good work!
hey, thank you for the tutorial...did my first rug this morning, but I used 9 strips to begin with Instead of 11...it made it a lil rectangly...fun to do!
Great tutorial!! Can't wait to do this as a group project at my daughter's wedding reception in a couple of weeks! Thanks for putting this together--super helpful.
You are an amazing teacher, and videographer. You did a great job teaching us how to do this. I think you may have found a career lol. Think I might try one this weekend.
A very good tutorial on this hoop rug project! I am getting ready to try it myself, with some help from my 7 year old grandson! I hope to let you know how it goes soon!
Great Job honey, You should be very proud of all that you are doing. I am definitely going to try this. This is one of the best tutorials on this I have seen. Thank you.
Great tutorial! Thank you for doing this. I will make one with my boys. They will love it! May I suggest that next time you use your phone horizontally when taking the video? The reason you have two blocks of black on each side of your video is because you are holding the phone vertically. This is known as "vertical video" and it should be avoided. You do such a good job tutoring, it would only become better if you hold the phone horizontally. It would show a lot more of your work and it also fills up the entire screen in youtube or TV or computer screens. I only mean to make a constructive criticism here. Thanks again for the great tutorial!
Woooow thanks SOO much you are really good at making those and also really good at making tutorials can you please please make more tutorials and videos I really enjoy the way you teach it and also I have one small tip either get someone to video it for you or make a stand just so that its easier for you great job keep up the good work😃😃👍👍👍👍
thank u! u just answered a few of my questions... i just did my first rug and stuffed up a bit - it also came unravelled :---/// but will use the same pieces and just redo it :---)
I forsee a trip to the thrift store for some t-shirts in my near future! I wonder, If I have a square frame I should be able to do nearly the same thing and make a square one with a little extra effort...
WOW, looks wonderful. I just finished mine and it looks....uh...not as good. I don't know, I think I got messed up somewhere and didn't realize it. Also, when I tied off, I didnt alternate the strings, (I forgot you said to do that.) This made some "rounds" too loose. Well, I may just have to try another! (sigh)

Stacy Campbell Why of course! I wish her the best of luck :)

Girl I admire your work and ideas, but we don't have our PC monitors vertically but horizontally at home. So please do the next video horizontally. :)
Good job on the video, hon.
nice
to make things a little easier, next time try using a rotary cutter for more uniform strips.
About how long did it take you to complete this project?
For the entire silver award project, 50 hours of logged service were required, so I spread it out over probably 3-5 months. Thanks for watching! :)
Did you achieve the Silver, perhaps went on to Gold?
I did get my silver award! Thanks for asking. I started to plan for my gold, but ended up working on a music project instead. :)
