That whole verse was deep af. Especially followed by that solo. Jesus. Between this one and diggs road, you can both hear and feel the raw emotions in his vocals and the music.
I lost my grandfather almost a year ago. This song got me through everything. It was an honor to be his grandson and I was honored to call him my Tata. I hope to see him in heaven the day I leave earth. God bless you Tata 😢❤️
@@ThorStranded Hey man thanks for reaching out! i cant even believe how old my comment is! From 3 years ago and i managed to catch your attention 3 days ago! Life has changed so much since then! I have learned not to hold my depression in and like you said to speak to someone. My Daughter is 4 now and she has made me so happy. I still don't have my brother in my life but now i know how to cope with it rather thank hiding away in my head.
I cant even relate to the lyrics of the song im still getting teary eyed. I cant even imagine how much this song means to somebody that can really relate.
Hes clean vocals are some the best In the industry like you just hear him pouring his soul and dark past out but making it into absolute masterpieces. I started listening to them after hearing when a demon defiles a witch first dropped and ever since then one of my all time favorite bands.
I’ll live on and carry you name And be what you always thought I could be I hope we meet in the end But I’ll never forgive the world for taking my best friend That part hit me hard
I vibe with this song so well. my best friend from high school moved out of state. lost some people in my life. my brother died when I was 3. one of my friends was murdered in April so this song is just helps me cope. 👍👊✊ thank you Phil Bozeman. I feel your pain I resd your story behind this song.
It kills me I lost my dad a little over a year ago and we had so much in common but he wasn't there a whole lot I just wished he would've been my best friend. Rest in peace dad
Im about to cry I recently lost my big brother to suicide losing a close family member is one of the worst things that can happen to a person especially a parent I can’t imagine I’m so sorry for your loss know it will get better even when it feels like it never will
OneHelluvaGuy if I may say, in my opinion, Phil has a very contesting voice to that of Coreys'. I will say this much, would actually love to hear them both collaborate on a song with the "clean" vocals. But growling/screaming wise, I have to say hands down, Bozeman.
my grandma died from emphysema when my dad was 14 and my grandpa died from cancer and old age a few years before i was born this song hits me in the feels so hard :'(
my mom died august 2017. she was a drug addict. on and out of prison for as long as I've been born. dad was a piece if shit who got her hooked on drugs. I live with my aunt and uncle now. I'm 16. I have a 11 year old brother. I listen to this song constantly. my mom died in a car. because of drugs.
I guess Tool is similar. Tool's like if you bump this up to a higher gear. Not the same "screams" but MJK, singer in tool, has a really powerful voice that should be enough to impress you.
You gotta Search through the AILD discography to find the songs you're looking for; if you haven't already. Also maybe look into like first wave metalcore and 90's metalcore style musics
@@alexandertorrente198 it's not a trick, it's literally just audio layering. When you listen to any song and hear the vocals, guitars and drums playing at the same time, they're all separate audio files played on top of each other in whatever editor they use. It's the same thing, but with another audio file added.
Probably slight pitch correction with Melodyne. Not Antares Auto-Tune. Melodyne is transparent you wouldent hear it but you always hear it on vocalists in Metalcore.

Petty the living, not the dead. There suffering is over.
Phil's vocals have always been brutal but you can hear the pain in his singing and growls, powerful shit
my father just passed away march 14, 2017 and i keep listening to this constantly... my daddy was my bestfriend and wed talk daily.... so much emotion
Mikahh Chuu that's sad I al srry to hear that
not a good idea to keep listening forever
its good to escape but its better to escape turmoil
I wish I had a real dad you are lucky to even have one

mine died in 2012 from cancer
Bless Tata and sorry for your loss brother.
You have the the best taste in music... And RIP Phil Bozeman's parents :'(
After my old man passed i cant count how many times I had this song on repeat. This song kicks ass!!!!
I live day by day with a smile on the outside for my family but this is how I feel inside.
Tell someone, don’t live alone in torment. Maybe someone else is doing the same and desperately wants to feel like someone else understands.

Unpopular opinion; this is whitechaple’s best song
Perfect amount of deathcore in regular singing
Diggs road for me
I agree with that!🙂
Blacked out
Agreed
This song gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to it
This song hits home ..I just lost my lil sister 2 months ago and this was my song to her...R.I.P. KAYLA COX

Me too man. He still comes to me in my dreams, it feels more real than reality when he does. Stay strong
Stay strong, I love you Peanut!
I just recently discovered this band and they hit so hard this song will help me though these dark times I'm in

Deeply!! I lost my mom and this song hits in the core. I’m great full for this song
This describes how I felt when my stepdad passed away 2 days before Christmas a few years ago.

Very late comment but I hope you're coping well with all that. It's a very shit deal and life shouldn't be putting anyone through that kind of crap
Thank you so much for making this lyric video, I really appreciate it. 💕
Wow. Came a long way from devirgination studies

this brought me back to when my grandmother died, a week later a family friend commited suicide. this genuinely made me tear up.
I play this for my mom. I lost her to Covid last year!! Sucks. But I’ll never forgive the world for taking my best friend!

Sounds a bit like Corey

Am fucking hurting right now... Wish i could go back to '04 and ask my mom for her advice. Thank you phil bozeman

Yo, this hit me hard as fuck. Good shit.

Fucking bone chilling
It's so dark here
Makes me think of the Littlest Pet Shop series from 2012
Im practicing this song since it's a good song to death growl and sing to.
My breakup sad song ....
This song hits me so hard cause around the time this album came out i lost my daughter to abortion
Maynard is that you?
dis is how i feel when may father died. ano now its getting heavier . dont have any one to tell my problems, or whats inside me now
yeah I relate to this song a lot too
It's sound's a little bit like slipknot
Slipknot+Thy Art is Murder
Sounds nothing like Corey wtf?
Kinda sounds like the lead singer of slipknot
Corey Taylor???
If this is the lead singers voice with only minor autotune it's not half bad for a screamer
Conor timm it's a Deathcore band, there's no autotune
If your talking abiut the back howl thing at 1:34, thats nit autotune, theres a trick you can do where you kinda create another voice behind yours
