Hi, the thing you used to open the canopy is actually the one you have to use to remove the side canisters (according to the instructions)...
ALEXINJED1 Yeah, I originally showed/mentioned that in the video but I edited that part out. The tip of the tool wasn’t fine enough to get under the edge and remove the canister so it took me FOREVER to take it out the first time. I didn’t want you guys to sit and watch me wrestle with another part, lol. I probably should have said something about it in the video.

great review of the batmobile, def getting one. As for the reason why the grappling harness is it two parts, because the batmobile release the connection at that point, after it makes the turn. They were trying, in a silly way, to be accurate..
It is very accurate and it also looks cool! On display, it actually looks great with one of the open canisters attached.

Sorry for the delay Richard! Another fantastically detailed review!! I pretty much agree with everything you said about this one. The extra features and accessories are all very cool and pretty unique to this release but I couldn’t believe my eyes when you showed how to attach the guns and ‘wing’ sections. What a crazy process to go through each time lol. The Jada does look far better overall and for a much lesser price but I do appreciate all the interior detail and paint apps of this one (Strange that they cover all that interior detail, the underneath section of the car etc but forget to colour the ‘filler tanks silver etc). Overall a pretty cool pickup but sadly the price is a little high for what it gives you. Thanks for sharing and for being back on TH-cam. More reviews!!!! Soon!! Hehe

Yeah, this was such a highly anticipated collectible for me and, while the design left me with some serious gripes, it’s definitely a cool display piece once you get it set up the way you want.
I think someone needs to come out with an ultimate version of this Batmobile in a similar scale. Something like the Hot Toys version but die cast metal and with all the bells and whistles - display options, lights, sensible design, armored shell, etc!! (Are you listening, Jada?)
I was totally on board with this until I saw how fiddly the accessories were and how much it costs. I will keep an eye out to see if the price goes down. I wouldn't mind paying $45 for this but that's as high as I could go. It's good to see another one of your videos! Thanks for a great review!
O.G. Trilogy Hey! I totally agree and I think $45 might even be pushing it, lol. I don’t quite get it because their models of the Tumbler are usually only around $20. It really is a pain in the butt to try and attach some of the features but it is the price that should make collectors take pause when considering this one. I’m glad this review hopefully helped you. It would be cool if the price did eventually go down.

I've never dipped my toe in Revoltech, but in the last year or so I've bought some action figures by S.H. Figuarts and Medicom Mafex for half of the original retail price. It could happen with this so I'll keep an eye out, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Not a Batmobile, but Jada released a 1:24 scale Ecto One from the original Ghostbusters and It's fan-freakin'-tastic!
I like this more than the Jada. It's more accurate in sculpt. It has the black turbine and gas caps which is a huge plus, too.

Thank you for this video! I really appreciate it. I was considering buying this model from Big Bad Toys, but was hesitant because of the price vs. the size. (I own the Jada version, which is one of my favorites). But seeing the plastic sculpt and what seem to be easy breakable pieces, its going to be a no from me. I do really love the light up feature and detail though. Thats what really caught my eye. If they ever decide to lower the price, I would give it a shot. I would definitely buy if it was between $40 - $50 bucks. Thanks again! Q.
So yes the canopy will slide forward and slide back you just put the tool in the wrong place it should be used directly in the front of the Cal canopy where the canopy slides forward in that track
Jada needs to make one that lights up.

This is my favorite Batmobile and I have several scale models of different scale and different manufacturers. Excellent review and interesting model! But there are problems - I do not like plastic. I did not like the way the cab opens. But I liked the hooks. This is not in the models of other manufacturers.

Hulk Kholkin I agree with you. I was a little disappointed with some of the features and the plastic construction. You can’t see it in the video but there were pieces of the plastic that chipped off when I tried to attach some of the accesories. It does look good once you put it together (I also like the hooks and the platform) but I wish the construction was better.

About the model. The platform did not make such an impression on me, as it was already implemented in the model Hot Wheels Elite Batman Returns Batmobile 1/18 Scale. And I have it.
The side fins are in the model Eaglemoss Batman Returns movie batmobile No.84 1/43 Scale. And I have it.
In this model I liked the excellent details of the machine guns. Hooks like it. Lights. But I already have enough models of this batmobile. Hardly buy

Well my friend you use that to a wrong you supposed to apply that little tool to the front of the lip of the canopy and slightly lifted so that they can slide forward

I am collecting those too! I have all of them except the Tumbler and the 1:24 1966 Batmobile. Did you hear that Jada will be releasing the Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile soon? I hope they continue to release different models because I think they are doing a great job.

Great review, you mention the trunk opening on the jada, is the hotwheels version trunk suppose to open as well? It looks that way but I can't get mine to open.
Impossible Pie It really does look like the trunk can open but it does not. However, their Elite version (the one with the gold trim, lol) has the same basic body and that trunk does open. I think it also comes with that rising platform that we see in Batman Returns.

Yeah way to much work. Very cool. But to be displayed, I would take time and looks very breakable.
This figure is only interesting because of the lights and accessories, otherwise the Jada is cheaper and bigger.
Jada has just tease their Animated Series Batmobile on their Instagram!!!...
