On this lake, this year I used a brass 250 SP most of the time because of the depths involved. The second rod was usually running a small Flicker Shad or a #6-8 Shad rap. My favorite color is white with a red head but that changes with the lake and conditions. They all catch fish.

Were these off the same structure? And which structure situation was it (bar, hump, saddle, wash, etc.)?
Were you using a spoonplug on the spinning rod? I couldn't tell. If so, what size?
I was using a shallow running crankbait: a Flicker Shad.
