I just order one of these today to add a second controller to my PS5 setup. I'm hoping they release more colors though! The standard white was a nice change of pace from all black. I'd like to see a darker or royal blue, maybe orange, green, yellow, and a few other options. People will always buy more controllers if there are more color options so it makes a lot of sense for them too keep pushing out more colors.
A forest green would be SOOOO nice
I think the midnight black is my favorite but I picked up the Galactic Purple as well, It looks so nice.
Nice... but i still prefer the full black variation. The purple is probably my second favourite colour. The least is the red. Red is my favourite colour but the tone they went for, not my taste.

I ordered the pink but then I saw the purple one and had to buy it
I went with Galactic Purple, my thought was that it would wear out a bit more evenly and gradually being darker than the blue and pink ones.
Honestly recommend purple, it just looks good, feels good, and everything u need to get a good controller

It was sais that the newer three varients have stronger springs but I wonder if more recent Black and Red Dualsenses have been upgraded as well?

btw this controller is beautiful. i also love the pink controller and the red is so cool to. sony really nailed these controllers. i'd love to see a neon green. neon yellow. hot pink. neon blue. neon orange. ect... if ur listening sony, more controllers for us. more money in ur pocket. i'm sure that is a reasonable exchange?

my only gripe with it is that most LED colours don’t look great in the purple

i rock with the purple for my ps5 games on pc . and soon spider-man . deathloop i cannot wait too try out on steam . and other ps4 tittles on pc there allot more than horrizon days gone and god off war on pc

Current favorite color is the powder blue.
Still need my 3rd and 4th controllers. Really considering this one. I have the powder blue which is sick as hell. Didn't think the red was that nice and pink isn't my color. The purple does look real nice but I'm hoping they release a green controller some time in the future. Probably won't since it's a Xbox color. 😭

I have every color now besides the Hogwarts Legacy one that was scalped, and of course the Pink, and Spider-Man 2 one. I have the Spider-Man 2 one pre-ordered, and this purple one is arriving today. If people didn't know, all this week controllers are $49.99 at Gamestop, and Best Buy as I am typing this, so if you want this color or some others they are cheaper.

@@chunky_money apparently there's a sticker on the back of the box that let's you know now, but they use different springs in the triggers now because the old Dualsense 5 controller's triggers would wear out and break.
While the anog sticks (or thumbsticks) apparently have a new color change which the old ones didn't have, and people have reported less issues on these newer controllers about drift.

@@jariusspear They do but the colors wont match the controllers, have the ps logo on the top left, they don't have that cool pattern on the inside, and they are much harder to get on rather than official ones.
My starlight blue dualsense has no sony texture at the back.
Hey! Has Sony changed the feel of the "start" and "create" button. I started to notice it on the newer Dualsense controllers.
On my older white, red and black Dualsense, the "start" and "create" buttons are more "clicky".
On my new white and now purple they are more "squishy".
I even exchanged one purple because I thought it was bad QA.
Can someone compare?

Yeah. The “start” and “create” buttons on my Galactic Purple has a different feeling from my White, Red, and Black PS5 controllers as well. Almost like the buttons are slightly “pressed in” on the newer Purple one compared to my other PS5 controllers. Oh well as long as the buttons work, that what counts.

Reason being is that the start button on the okd controllers were susceptible to getting stuck (happened to 2 of my old white controllers)
