Hi there, if forestry mulching is done correctly it’s a permanent fix. By that I mean you should never have to go in and clear land if it’s done properly. However, as with a lot of areas middle Tennessee and is known for its growth. Any bare spot of dirt will eventually grow something. Correct forestry mulching will only need to be maintained by bush hogging or mowing the grass that pops back up. When it’s done correctly no woody material should ever regrow.
